How do you combat bloating?

Do you get bloated so easy? I do! Am such a bloaty girl! Lol

Everyone can experience bloating, that very uncomfortable feeling inside your tummy and it's not a pleasant thing to have.

I remember one time when my partner and I went out to have dinner with his uncle and his significant. They ordered nachos and when it got into our table, it looked so delicious, smothered with cheddar cheese on top, mixed beans and it was huge, it can feed 10 people!

So, imagine it was just four of us and we finished the whole thing, I knew I should have stopped myself eating way dairy that night because after eating the nachos, (take note that was just an appetizer) I already felt my tummy stretching my super tight dress!

Later on, more food on the table. The thing is almost everything gives me gas, I think the only thing that doesn't is water! Maybe I have to switch to water diet, lol but no! Not possible, I love food and nothing can stop me from eating!

Anyways going back to the story, once we finished our dinner, I felt like I was so going to shoot up because of so much gas in me and it wasn't sexy to think about while I was in my black tight dress. I wished I brought my boyfriend's oversize shirt! 😂

Though there are many things that causes gas, food and drinks (except water) hormones (when my menstrual period, before and after, I get gassy during this time), and even stress causes bloating.

The thing is I am lactose intolerant but even when I don't eat any dairy, I still get really gassy and that's a very horrible thing. As I've said the only thing that doesn't give me gas is water!

So what I do to combat bloating? These the most effective way for me to get rid of my bloat.

Exercise

Exercise is one the best way that I found to get rid of my bloat. Even doing stretching or going on walks. It always makes me feel a lot better, I think its because it stimulates the digestive system. Specially when I do high intensity training weather bodyweight or weight training, I feel so light after.

Hydrate with water

Drinking plenty of water is another effective way to fight bloating. It helps flush the gas naturally.

Probiotic supplements

I find it really helpful taking probiotic. I take one in at day time after my first meal and at night after dinner because that's when I feel most uncomfortable, when I eat anything (it doesn't matter if it's meat, veggies, fruits, processed or non processed food!)

They said it has something to do with the microorganisms that helps colonize our gut bacteria. To make it easier to understand, this is based on my experience, whenever I take this pill either at night or afternoon time, after couple of minutes I always head for the bathroom and I feel great! 😁

Haha you said one thing and that's the fact that you love food and nothing can ever take way that. However I think bloating gives some people the chills but well it's part of one's new look when they eat heavy. You exercise well I'm sure you'll get back the good shape again

I am bloated too, maybe because I am lactose intolerant too. So, thank you for sharing ways in dealing with being bloated. 😊

I know that you are working very hard to get fit and slimy that you can wear some kind of dress which you like most, you have a discipline diet and doing exercise that keeps you healthier. By the way @purepinay do you have discord or other contact apps!

I'm 100% with you on bloating. It sucks! It really stinks you have it with everything vs just with certain foods. That has to make it tougher!

I know someone like that who's always bloated. She's so skinny but her tummy looks big because of same reasons as yours. The girl is sadly unaware if what kinds of foods that gave her gas.
