TOMORROW IS UNKNOWN. CALL SOMEONE TODAY.
Something has been bothering me since the year began. Every week, I see 2-3 posts from friends mourning a departed friend, colleague or family member, mostly young people in their 30s. This has forced me to think about death. Apparently, old age is not the leading cause of deaths. Other things are - illness, suicides, murders, accidents etc.
Tomorrow is unknown.
Drop the grudges.
Pick up the phone and call people.
Talk to people. Don't just read their posts and pass it as doing well.Forget about Memes and jokes cracked here, behind closed doors and offline, people are wailing in pain. People are floored in tears.
People are sleeping hungry.
They're getting depressed and contemplating suicide.
They can't afford basic needs.
They can't afford decent treatment.
They've given up.
They however, don't look like what they're going through,but it is a lot about them.
To anyone who has lost a friend,a family or a neighbour, may you all be comforted.

Like I said to someone else here earlier this week, people often seem to forget that there is a human being behind the screen. Each one dealing with their own problems and pains.
Tomorrow's are never guaranteed and yet we consistently take them for granted, always thinking we "have more time". We do not always, have more time.

The past year really showed us the importance of keeping in touch with one another.
