Does Your Content Deliver Value?

At the very beginning, I would like to mention something that I was talking about before, but it looks that it was misunderstood... To be more exact, I didn't "invent" the thing of "sucking at the beginning", but I have embraced it in some of my previous blog posts... So, let's clarify things about that...

When someone tries to motivate you to start with content creation, if he/she is honest, it will probably tell you in some moment that you will suck in your first posts... It doesn't matter if it is a text post or video post... And that will be probably the case... But... Some people didn't understand the right meaning of that... So, as a result, we can see some worthless content on social media, as people think that they have just started with creation, and it has to be like that...

Well, it's not about that... When I tell you that YOU will suck, I mean at your weird behavior in front of the camera, or creepy facial expressions, or spelling mistakes in your blog post... But, that doesn't mean that your CONTENT has to suck! The value of your content, your message that you want to deliver, has nothing to do with you being a newbie or 10-year content creator... You, in your first blog post, can have a hundred times better message than some tired content creator which does it for years...

Later in my video, I was talking about different values that your content can (and should) contain if you want to do this crazy content creation job...

One of the important things is to have fun doing it, and not just you, but also your audience with you... Respect your audience, thrive to deliver value in EACH of your videos, and you will see results of it... Yes, it is important to show up every day, but don't cheat yourself and others by creating junk content for sake of creation... You are doing a disservice to yourself...

Don't forget to check out the video and thanks for watching!

Thank you for your valuable time,

~ph~

What I find amazing is that we are always learning from each other. If I did not fall down the rabbit 🐰 hole of loosing my path and blogging, commenting my way out of it, I don't think a lot of these conversations would be, being had.

I do strive to put out meaningful content everyday. But even now a "seasoned" blogger I still "suck" at times.

Thanks for the fantastic content my friend 😊

As I said in the video... We all suck... But still... trying to be better every next day... Finding ways how to help others and ourselves... If it can be beneficial to the community, that's even better!

Have a great weekend, Bradley!

Sucking is esential, lol, how else do we improve, if we already thing that we cannot inmprove then we never will and we will find it easy to stop.
If people express their ideas and opinions from their heart then content is always good.

I have a story, for another time :)

I have posted many posts and still make lots of spelling mistakes, lol

People just need to do it, accept that theer is always room for improvement and that in itself is motivation to keep going

Fancy words, nice background, long posts look good, but the message that you deliver in your content is the most important thing. That's what makes the difference and whenever your audience consumes your content, they can instantly feel the vibes!

Well said... sometimes your "background" helps, but if there is no message, all that is in vain...
Have a great weekend and thanks for the comment!

Hello my friend

I appreciate your efforts to talk about very nice topic about the content and how easy it is to create.
I just said some people think that creating content is easy especially video thing is very easy. In my opinion it's not at all easy and creating video is even more difficult. I remember the days when I started creating videos it was taking quite a long time from myself to prepare and face the camera. I used to take about half an hour sometimes to record a video of 5 minutes because I was not camera friendly and now after over an year I find myself in a better position but it still it's not that easy as people think about it.

Out of all the content creators on the platform I think not even 1% people are creating videos because the fact is it is not easy. As you mentioned about that we must feel come before putting the record button on and it's true that I also follow in my videos. baby many people see that videos are getting bigger port sometimes but they do not look at the efforts person is putting in to create it.

I also think that making high-quality content every day sometimes does not happen because after various reasons and it's ok because we are humans and not every day we can have the same energy and enthusiasm however I still try my level best to bring up value on the platform and also to my audience.

thank you so much my friends are talking about this nice topic and as always I like the way you create video because I can see e nice place in the background and not like me because I record my videos sitting in the room.. haham. you are so good my friend..
Keep up the great work buddy.. have a great weekend

Thank you for your kind words, Alok... Yes, I agree that the percents are probably under 1%, that's why I didn't want to make assumptions in the video about it...

Also, agree about the high-quality content.. it can't happen every day, for sure... The important is to have an interesting topic and try to deliver the value... The effort that you invest in the content creation counts, and it is visible in the video... Even if it sucks... You can see when someone is trying, and we have to respect that! The "quality" will come...

For me, it's easier to create content in "a move"... For someone else, works in nature (like @flaxz), or in a room (like you)... It depends on person, and on circumstances...

Thanks again and have a great weekend!

When I first started making video, I definitely sucked (as we all did). I was nervous being on camera & constantly worried what people would think. But I knew I wanted to do it so I pushed on. You never know until you try! As I went on and envisioned myself as a content creator, it became a bit easier as I went. Now, I feel being on camera is very natural.

So, I agree. The content won't suck because if it's something you're passionate about & you put some effort into it, it will come together as long as you're consistent & show up every day.

With that being said, as you mentioned, it definitely isn't easy. With mine, doing the actual video is easier than the editing. Sometimes the editing takes twice as long as well as the thumbnails & description, etc. So it does take time, skill that you learn along the way & dedication.

Thanks for a yet another awesome topic! :) This would be a great addition in my Content Creators series :D 💙

Hmm... Is that some new secret project?

I like your video editing skills, and when I grow up, I want to be skilled in that like you! :)

And yes, we all have sucked at the beginning, and speaking for myself, I still act weird sometimes... lol... But, definitely better than it was at the beginning... Also, I think that I didn't have bad topics at the beginning... they were different but still fairly good...

I hope that I will step out soon outside of my "new comfort zone", as I feel a bit too comfy like this... :)

Thanks for the comment and enjoy your relaxing weekend!

Thanks a lot for the mention and shoutout Zoltan, and well said that "the content does not need to suck even if your delivery does".

As we keep growing as content creators we will get better at the delivery, all we need to do is start and not stop, many people think it's much harder than that, but it's not.

I started to make videos with Seven77, and even if there where some period where I did not make videos I got back to it pretty quick, and then never stopped after that.

And as you said focusing on deliver value, to help people grow and to give solutions to problems that they might have, that is how we keep on growing ourselves.

Keep up your great work.
