Look Into Hive .:. Hump Day Easy Talk

I'm not sure how this topic came to the surface, but it could be that it was triggered by an awesome vlog by @pixiepost, where she was talking about excuses and whining... Or it is just an atmosphere that is creating whenever Hive has a price drop... Or it is just a mix of some technical problems that we are experiencing almost on daily basis after the hard fork, plus all this mentioned...

It is a bit rant-video, where I was talking about certain things that are happening very often lately, and they aren't good for anyone involved in the Hive blockchain... Nor developers, program owners, dApp, or regular members... I have tried to point out some of the problems that are very repetitive, and very harmful for the whole system... These problems have solutions, and we should work on making them happen...

Check out the video for more details...

Thank you for your valuable time,

~ph~

It doesn't feel good when things are not working. We get it. But when a new user faces this, he/she thinks it will not work and probably he/she will never come back. The effort put into getting onboard new users will go in vain. Hope things will get better and content creators will not encounter this kind of problem.

Exactly! Sometimes, I'm ashamed to promote Hive to others as I think that it will not work as it should... That has to change... That uncertainty that something will not work when it's important is really a heavy bag for carrying...

Time is ticking, we are slowly getting into the new bull run when a lot of eyeballs will be on crypto and blockchain project... And HIVE has to be ready to WORK 24/7 to onboard new users that WILL come...

This blockchain is a kind of playfield for developpers and not every developper knows how to build a business. It's like the great electrician who doesn't know how to write an invoice. In the end developpers need to come together with people who do the "boring" stuff like customer support, marketing,...

This shows that most of the dapps are not yet fully mature yet but it's on the way :-)

Agree with you... But "experimenting" whole your life will not get you anywhere... (expect if you are a scientist.. lol..) I have a feeling that with this pace, this kind of "mentality" will not lead us too far... It's the same thing as that "slot machine affiliate marketer" guy who jumps from one place to another...

When I had some idea and trying to find a developer for it, 99% of them are occupied... and they have tons of work, etc... And I have friends that are doing that for a living... and they always complain about how they don't advance in their job... It's all about investing your time wisely...

Smart money always works better than hard work earning money... And the combo of these two works the best...

Cheers!

I think there is a latent problem here and it's that people are attracted by the shiny stuff. They jump from one thing to another, from one token to the next, from one app to the next. It's the same for the app developers. Look at hive-engine for example. It's a great product but it looks still in Beta. There is so much information missing and there are no updates.

One thing is built and then we jump to the next. This lacks the professional attitude. It's better to have one working product and improve it rather than jump from one to the next. Well it's also kind of true for myself LOL
