With short holidays I meant 2 or 3 days, a weekend in such a heat would be enough 😁

Nah, the clever way would be to visit in Autumn, what you guys call Fall.
April and May have very pleasant weather and our winters should even be a cake walk for you, as we never go lower than 0C.

The problem with winter herec is it is the rainy seasons, so storms accompany it.
Thus Fall is the ideal time and even better, it is out of season, so not many people about.

A beautiful Autumn is the best time of the year, but I also love the Spring when everything grows and turns green again.
Late Autumn and early Spring are also here the times when the least tourists are around.

You have it exactly right as late Autumn and early Spring are also my favorite times of the seasons.
Great news is that Harry and Sally flew back in yesterday afternoon.
Sally is her usual coy self as every time when they come back we have to plead with her to come and eat. But Harry is his usuall blustery self and I was scared that he would eat too much.

Btw. I think that I would prefer the snow, but I also love the rain 🤣

boys are always hungry and geese are no exception I believe 😉

I prefer snow - you don't get as wet as in the rain and a walk in the snow is something special, it's so silent and depending on the snow it's like walking on clouds :)

I also have to run to go and fetch some wooden poles for the carport and then to collect a box of pears from a farmer. We give the fruit to the children at a charity.

Please let me know if you like d.buzz as I also had a look at it, but don't know how it works yet!

Good morning Zac,

busy morning, but the kids will have a nice and sweet surprise :)

d.buzz works like Twitter on the computer. You have 280 characters only, and that's not very much. My comments are longer than that ;) lol
You just click on "Buzz" and in a new window you can make your post - just like you do it on Twitter, and if you check the "post on Twitter" box it opens a new window right after you save your new post. In this window you can edit the Twitter post. That's a nice feature, although I have changed it a little bit ;)

So, I think I will make a d.buzz post from time to time when I have no time and not much to say ;) lol

Thank you kindly for the explanation here my friend.
In all honesty, I am not a big fan of 1 picture posts, but I have a lot of photos for which there are no front ends, or communities in Hive. So maybe I will use them in d.buzz

Interesting that there is also a twitter feature. I will check it out.

great, I will have a look at the post later.

I'm still working, but in a few hours I will have the weekend off 😁 It's raining here, but I hope to have at least a few hours for a walk tomorrow morning. The only times I have been outside this week was in the car commuting to work ... I need some fresh air.

An interesting thing happened last night on D,buzz.
A guy ordered me to stop placing photos of "previous" posts, as he said that I was milking the system.
So I received 10 downvotes.

In my reply I said that it was not previous posts, but rather current (on the same day) posts that everyone also places on Twitter.
He has not replied yet and I want to see what he is going to say.
I might stop using D.buzz, as he spoiled our reputation.

Some people have a weird behaviour. That reminds me on the other Blockchain. Of course everyone can downvote, but I would never downvote anyone without waiting for a response ... and after your reply I wouldn't have had a reason anymore to downvote.

Marian said thank you and blessings to you and your family. She is 23 years younger than me and indeed fit and healthy. When I am old, she will be my young unspeakable person and I will buy her that uniform in the picture that I sent you 🤣

We went up the mountain at the seaside to the waterworks that is jut below the very top of the mountain. Got some interesting photos and also my first South African Raven, even though I was driving the car up high in the sky 🤣

The Ravens was a part of that trip and I tested my zoom on some views from the top of a mountain.
