There are times in life when everything is uphill, where we feel everything falling apart and we fall into an endless precipice, until we finally touch the ground and realize that the fear we felt as we fell begins to disappear. That which generated so much uncertainty in the past begins to transform itself into small realities and by the fact of transforming itself into such, that uncertainty becomes certain.

Hay momentos en la vida en que todo es cuesta arriba, donde sentimos que todo se desmorona y que caemos en un precipicio que no tiene fin, hasta que al fin tocamos el suelo y nos damos cuenta que el miedo que sentíamos mientra caíamos comienza a desaparecer. Eso que nos generaba tanta incertidumbre en el pasado comienza a transformarse en pequeñas realidades y por el hecho de transformarse en tales esa incertidumbre se hacen certezas.

When we get to the bottom the first sensation is the blow of the impact, but then we get out of that state of stupor as a result of the impact and we start to stand up, since we know that lower we cannot go.

Cuando llegamos al fondo la primer sensación es el dolor por el golpe del impacto, pero luego salimos de ese estado de atontamiento y comenzamos a poner de pie, ya que sabemos que más bajo no podemos llegar.

Those first moments after falling are of calm and tranquility and to think where we are going, which direction we take. Those moments of reflection will indicate success or failure on the path we choose to follow.

Esos primeros instantes después de caer son de calma y tranquilidad y para pensar hacia donde vamos, que dirección tomamos. Esos instantes de reflexión son los que indicarán el éxito o fracaso en el camino que elijamos seguir.

If we let ourselves be driven by despair and impulse it may lead us to repeat past mistakes that led us to the place where we ended up. If instead we make decisions with calm, thinking, serenity and listening to our hearts, we will surely obtain a better port.

Si nos dejamos llevar por la desesperación y el impulso puede que nos lleve a repetir errores del pasado que nos llevaron al lugar en que terminamos. Si en cambio tomamos las decisiones con calma, pensando, serenos y escuchando el corazón, seguramente obtengamos un mejor puerto.

Everything happens for a reason, and once it's over there's no time for regrets. The bad times will pass and we will begin to see our horizon again. No one says it's easy. The sun will rise again and appear behind the clouds to show us the way again; little by little, that film we saw in black and white starts having colors again.

Todo pasa por algo, y una vez que pasó ya no hay tiempo para los lamentos. Los malos momentos pasaran y comenzaremos nuevamente a ver nuestro horizonte. Nadie dice que es fácil. El sol saldrá nuevamente y aparecerá detrás de las nubes para marcarnos nuevamente el camino; de a poco, esa película que veíamos en blanco y negro comienza a tener nuevamente colores.

Once again I'm on my feet, taking new steps
