Putting My Mind To Fly - Bird Special / Poniendo mi mente a volar - Especial de Aves

On Saturday morning I was looking out my window trying to find something to divert my thoughts from where I was at the time.

El sábado por la mañana miraba por la ventana de mi casa tratando de encontrar algo que haga desviar mis pensamientos hacia otro lugar de donde me encontraba en ese momento.

It was there, looking out the window, while drinking a hot coffee to pass the cold prevailing at this time that two calanders and a shameless baker approached the garden in front of the house who dared to eat some of the rice that hours before he had given to a stray dog that slept next to the food.

Fue allí mirando en la ventana, mientras tomaba un café caliente para pasar el frío reinante en esta época que se acercaron al jardín del frente de la casa dos calandrias y un desvergonzado hornero quién se animó a comer algo del arroz que horas antes le había dado a un perro callejero que dormía al lado del alimento.

It was at that precise moment when my mind began to fly as I observed the movements and rituals that the birds performed. I could say that I was hypnotized observing the courtship that one of the calanders had for its partner or the effort that the young baker put in to gather small twigs with some mud surely with the purpose of finishing the construction of its nest.

Fue en ese preciso instante cuando mi mente comenzó a volar al tiempo que observaba los movimientos y rituales que las aves realizaban. Podría decir que quedé hipnotizado observando el cortejo que la una de las calandrias tenía para con su pareja o el empeño que ponía el joven hornero para juntar pequeñas ramitas con algo de barro seguramente con la finalidad de terminar de construir su nido.

Such was the degree of hypnosis and abstraction of my environment that I was lost in my thoughts of freedom and immensity caused by bird watching. After a few minutes I noticed that neither the calanders nor the oven was in place and it was there that I realized that I had not taken my camera to make some shots.

Tal fue el grado de hipnosis y abstracción de mi entorno que quedé perdido en mis pensamientos de libertad e inmensidad que me causa al observar las aves. Al cabo de unos minutos note que las ni las calandrias, ni el hornero estaba en el lugar y fue allì que me di cuenta que no había tomado mi cámara para hacer algunos disparos.

Although I felt sorry for this situation because I could have made very good shots, I decided to do a little review of my photos some of which are really fantastic and I have surprised myself with the result obtained.

Si bien me dió pena esta situación porque hubiese podido hacer muy buenas tomas, decidí hacer un pequeño repaso por mis fotos algunas de las cuales son realmente fantásticas y me he sorprendido a mi mismo del resultado obtenido.

Watching these small and moving birds for a long time, I was able to let my mind fly and I found something to bring back the normality to our days.

Observando por un buen tiempo a estas pequeñas y movedizas aves, pude dejar volar a mi mente y encontré algo que devuelva la normalidad a nuestros días.

At this time of year, there are already many days when we cannot enjoy being fully free and it is becoming increasingly difficult to keep our heads in good thoughts.

A esta altura del año, ya son muchos los días en los que no podemos disfrutar el ser plenamente libres y comienza a ser cada vez más difícil mantener la cabeza con buenos pensamientos.

You have to try to gather strength from anywhere to try to get through this difficult time, I thank God I found that haven in the birds and that's how I was encouraged to fly with them.

Hay que tratar de juntar fuerzas de donde sea para intentar pasar este difícil momento, yo gracias a Dios encontre esa remanso en las aves y fue así que con ellas me animé a volar.

The birds to me represent, peace, relaxation, skill, elegance, and confidence. When you see them flying you get a feeling of infinite immensity and the purest state of freedom.

Las aves para mi representan, paz, relajación, destreza, elegancia, y confianza. Al veras volar san una sensación de una infinita inmensidad y el más puro estado de libertad estado de libertad.

Surely many of these photos have already been shared with you, but it is with them that I manage to transport myself to another dimension, to stop thinking and achieve a certain relaxation.

Seguramente muchas de estas fotos ya las he compartido con ustedes, pero es con ellas que consigo transportarme a otra dimensión, dejar de pensar y lograr cierta relajación.
