On my way to the top - En mi camino a la cima

Getting to the top and achieving our goals is not an easy task for anyone unless they are born in a golden cradle.

Llegar a la cima y lograr alcanzar nuestras metas no es una tarea sencilla para nadie a no ser que se halla nacido en cuna oro.

Those of us who seek to reach as high as we dream face great challenges. Along the way, we will come across large rocks, intricate paths and large cliffs that will make us think more than once whether it is worthwhile to walk the path or go back to the place where we were and even if it did not meet our expectations, we felt comfortable.

A quienes buscamos llegar tan alto como soñamos nos enfrentamos a grandes desafio. En el camino nos encontraremos con grandes rocas, caminos intrincados y grandes precipicios que nos harán pensar más de una vez si vale la pena recorrer el camino o regresar hacia el sitio en donde estábamos y si bien no llenaba nuestras expectativas, nos sentíamos cómodos.

Sometimes, searching for new paths implies leaving our comfort zone and going through unknown trails, which we will go through with great distrust at first and will undoubtedly make us rethink the steps to follow. If we walk these roads with security and confidence we will have achieved a great personal growth and a great increase in our self-esteem.

En ocasiones buscar nuevos caminos implica salir de nuestra zona de confort y transitar senderos desconocidos, el cual recorreremos con gran desconfianza en un primer momento y sin duda nos hará replantear los pasos a seguir. Si transitamos estos caminos con seguridad y confianza habremos logrado un gran crecimiento personal y una gran alza en nuestro autoestima.

No one has their destiny set, no one has the pages of their book written.

Nadie tiene el destino marcado, nadie tiene las páginas de sus libro escritas.

When you have a big mountain in front of you and you are wishing to be on the other side, do not be discouraged or higher. Just take your time to think about where you want to climb it and make it to the top. The path will not be easy and as I told you at the beginning we will find all kinds of obstacles, even the most unthinkable, but I am sure that we can all overcome it.

Cuando frente tuyo tengas una gran montaña y estés deseando estar de la otra ladera, no te desanimes or más alta que sea. Solo tomate tu tiempo para pensar por donde querrás subirla y hacer cumbre. El camino no será sencillo y como ya les dije al principio nos encontraremos con todo tipo de obstáculos, hasta los más impensados, pero estoy seguro de que todos podemos sortearlo.

Once you start climbing, looking for your summit, you will reach a point on the road where you will feel your energy running out and you will feel like taking the road back to the place you were in, which even though it was not the one you wanted to be in, you had gotten used to it.

Una vez que comienzas a subir, a buscar tu cumbre,llegarás a un punto en el camino en el que sentirás que tus energías se agotan y te dará ganas de tomar el camino de regreso hacia el lugar en el que estabas, que si bien no era en el que querías estar, te habías acostumbrado a él.

When these sensations invade your body and soul, follow a little more because when you are very close to the summit, you will find a great plain that will make everything easier and you will be a few steps away from your goal.

Cuando estas sensaciones invadan tu cuerpo y tu alma, seguí un poco más por que cuando estés muy cerca de la cumbre, encontrarás un gran llano que hará todo más fácil y estarás a pocos pasos de tu objetivo.

There's a saying that glory was never a reward for slackers.

Hay un dicho que dice que la gloria nunca fue recompensa de los haraganes.

I'm convinced that we all have a choice in the life we lead. If we are not satisfied, it is a matter of putting our hands to work in order to twist your destiny towards what you desire. We just have to visualize what we want and keep in mind that the path will not be easy, but with conviction and determination we can reach that place we long to be.

Estoy convencido que todos tenemos otra opción a la vida que llevamos. Si no estamos conformes es cuestión de poner manos a la obra para torcer tu destino hacia donde tu anhelas. Solo hay que visualizar lo que queremos y tener en mente que el camino no será sencillo, pero con convencimiento y determinación podremos llegar a ese lugar que tanto anhelamos estar.
