I believe that there is nothing in the world that brings us closer to our childhood than the carousel or carousel name by which we know it in Argentina.

Creo que no hay nada en el mundo que nos acerque más a nuestra infancia que el carrusel o calesita nombre con el cual lo conocemos en Argentina.

For those of us who grew up in these lands, the carousel holds the most beautiful memories of our childhood. On weekends when we went to the park to spend our days off, there were no days that we didn't go to the carousel with our friends.

Para quienes crecimos por estas tierras el carrusel guarda los recuerdos más lindos de nuestra infancia. Los fin de semana cuando íbamos al parque a pasar nuestros días libre, no había días que dejemos de ir a la calesita con nuestros amigos.

When we had money, we paid the return and when the money ran out, we got on anyway with the tacit authorization of the owner who, with a noble gesture, let us believe that we had gotten on without him noticing. Of course, he noticed it, but every now and then he gave us the ring so that we could have another free ride.

Cuando teníamos plata pagábamos la vuelta y cuando el dinero se terminaba nos subíamos igual con la autorización tácita del dueño quién con un noble gesto nos dejaba creer que nos habíamos subido sin que el se diera cuenta. Claro que el se daba cuenta y a pesar de ello de vez en cuando nos regalaba la sortija para que tuviésemos otra vuelta gratis.

Our best stories were born there where we became airplane and truck pilots, and we could even ride horses or climb on top of an elephant or an elegant flamingo.

Allí nacían nuestras mejores historias donde nos convertíamos en pilotos de avión, de camión, y hasta podíamos montar a caballo o subirnos arriba de un elefante o de un elegante flamenco.

There, our best memories of our childhood were left, of our most beautiful stage, and just like when we were kids on the weekends, the carousel is a must, now to take our children and in that way make them relive part of what was our childhood.

Allí quedaron nuestros mejores recuerdos de niños, de nuestra etapa más linda y al igual que cuando eramos niños los fin de semana, la calesita es una cita obligada, ahora para llevar a nuestros niños y de esa manera poder hacerles revivir parte de lo que fue nuestra niñez.

I believe that it is always important to return to our roots, to go back to being what we once were and above all to everything that had to do with making us who we are today. Today our children enjoy the carousel and we do it through them and with it we become children again, even if only for a few minutes.

Creo que siempre es importante volver a nuestras raíces, volver a ser lo que alguna vez fuimos y sobre todo a todo aquello que tuvo que ver para que hoy seamos quienes somos. Hoy nuestros niños disfrutan del carrusel y nosotros lo hacemos a través de ellos y con ello volvemos a ser niños, aunque tan solo sea por unos minutos.
