Hola Hivers espero que se encuentren muy bien.

El día de hoy vengo a contarles una anécdota que me paso hace algunos años atrás, que posiblemente muchos se sientan identificados con mi historia.

Recuerdo estaba comenzando la universidad, vida nueva, amigos nuevos, después de salir de clase de tributación (era horrible) decidí irme a mi casa, no me sentía nada bien, cuando voy llegando a la estación de metro me llama uno de mis compañeros de clase para que lo esperara ya que vivía hacia mi zona y no se queria ir solo, lo espere cerca del metro en un muy concurrido Mall de la ciudad de Caracas.

Hello Hivers, I hope you are feeling well.
Today I come to tell you an anecdote that happened to me some years ago, possibly many of you feel identified with my story.
I remember I was starting college, new life, new friends, after leaving my tax class (it was horrible) I decided to go home, I was not feeling well, when I was arriving at the subway station one of my classmates called me to wait for him because he lived in my area and did not want to go alone, I waited for him near the subway in a very busy Mall in the city of Caracas.

Mientras llegaba al Mall, decidí ir a ver algunos teléfonos para matar el tiempo; a lo que me percato de una Chica de unos 27 años parecía que iba camino al gimnasio, tenía unos rasgos muy lindos pelo castaño largo, ojos color miel, una sonrisa perfecta. Parecía que esperaba a alguien también pero no llegaba porque veía mucho el reloj; ambos nos percatamos de nuestras presencia y las miradas y la tensión empezó (soy algo tímido para conocer o coquetear así) cuando decido ir a saludarla llego mi amigo y todo quedo ahí, nos dimos una última mirada y me fui.

While arriving at the Mall, I decided to go look at some phones to kill time; to which I notice a girl about 27 years old looked like she was on her way to the gym, she had very nice features long brown hair, honey colored eyes, a perfect smile. She looked like she was waiting for someone too but she didn't arrive because she was watching the clock a lot; we both noticed our presence and the looks and the tension started (I'm a little shy to meet or flirt like that) when I decide to go to greet her my friend arrived and everything stayed there, we gave each other a last look and I left.

Al pasar unos 3 meses estaba en mi casa en Los Teques sin nada que hacer y recordé que no contaba con mucho efectivo para ir a la universidad al día siguiente, así que me dispuse a salir al Mall La Cascada, el más conocido de Los Altos Mirándonos, al llegar me ubico de ultimo en la fila que estaba algo larga ( unas 10 personas delante de mi) ya faltando tres personas para que fuera mi turno me percato que a lo lejos venia esa chica… la misma chica que vi hace tres meses en el mall en Caracas.

After about 3 months I was at home in Los Teques with nothing to do and I remembered that I did not have much cash to go to college the next day, so I decided to go to the Mall La Cascada, the best known of Los Altos Mirándonos, when I arrived I was last in the line that was somewhat long (about 10 people in front of me) and missing three people for my turn I noticed that in the distance came that girl ... the same girl I saw three months ago in the mall in Caracas.

No lo podía creer, el universo está conspirando a mi favor, esta es la mujer de mi vida, se volvió un mantra en mi mente sin quitarle los ojos de encima viendo cómo se acercaba a mí; ella se dio cuenta que estaba en la cola del banco ( yo no creí que se acordara de mi… pero sí!) entre al banco rápidamente y volví a salir y ella seguía “viendo vitrinas” llegue hasta donde se encontraba y me presente, me dijo que se llamaba Janet duramos hablando unas dos horas y me dijo que vivía por ahí cerca.

I couldn't believe it, the universe is conspiring in my favor, this is the woman of my life, it became a mantra in my mind without taking my eyes off her as she approached me; she realized that I was in line at the bank (I didn't think she remembered me... but she did!) I quickly entered the bank and went back out and she was still "window shopping" I got to where she was and introduced myself, she told me her name was Janet we talked for about two hours and she told me she lived nearby.

A partir de ese día, entablamos una amistad amorosa, la llamaba cada tres horas, nos veíamos, pero todo poco a poco se fue volviendo más serio, tomando en cuenta que yo tenía 18 años en ese momento y Janet 28. Ella quería que le dedicara más tiempo salir más y a veces le decía que no podía ya que no percibía ningún tipo de ingresos en ese momento. Ella era una mujer profesional, trabajaba en una empresa privada en la ciudad, veía la vida de otro modo; eso me gustaba aprendí mucho gracias a ella.

From that day on, we started a loving friendship, I called her every three hours, we saw each other, but everything little by little became more serious, taking into account that I was 18 years old at that time and Janet was 28. She wanted me to spend more time with her, to go out more and sometimes I told her that I could not because I did not receive any kind of income at that time. She was a professional woman, she worked in a private company in the city, she saw life in a different way; I liked that, I learned a lot thanks to her.

Un día, le dije para salir pero no tenía nada de dinero ni para el bus, le dije para vernos en una plaza a lo que ella me comenta. (Palabras duras, pero que me hicieron crecer) – No puedo esperar a que tu mamá te de la mesada para que puedas salir conmigo! Ella no fue mala, no fue cruel, fue sincera. Ese mismo día, empecé a buscar trabajos de medio tiempo y conseguí algunos unos mejores pagados que otros.

One day, I told her to go out but I didn't have any money for the bus, so I told her to meet me in a square, to which she told me. (Harsh words, but they made me grow up) - I can't wait for your mom to give you your allowance so you can go out with me! She wasn't mean, she wasn't cruel, she was sincere. That same day, I started looking for part-time jobs and got some that paid better than others.

Me pagaron muy bien recuerdo; le digo a Janet para salir en Caracas una semana después de haber recibido el pago de mis trabajos, los planes eran, la invito a comer, unos tragos y la habitación de hotel, (revise todas mis cuentas antes de salir de casa y me alcanzaba para eso y más) voy por ella a su sitio de trabajo y de obsequio le doy un chocolate, re cuerdo su cara de impresión fue única, le dije las siguientes palabras…. – El día de hoy será el mejor para ti.

I was paid very well I remember; I tell Janet to go out in Caracas a week after I received the payment of my jobs, the plans were, I invite her to eat, some drinks and the hotel room, (I checked all my accounts before leaving home and I had enough for that and more) I go for her to her work place and as a gift I give her a chocolate, I remember her face of impression was unique, I told her the following words.... - Today will be the best day for you.

Nos fuimos a al restaurant a comer ella pidió algo similar a un burrito, pero relleno de carne y pollo, yo pedí una hamburguesa tres carnes. Después de eso nos tomamos unas cervezas y ya era tarde, nos teníamos que ir. Cuando llega la cuenta (no me preocupo por que tenía dinero suficiente en mi cuenta) voy a la caja a cancelar doy mi tarjeta y la joven que se encontraba cobrando muy amablemente me grita FONDO INSUFICIENTE.

We went to the restaurant to eat, she ordered something similar to a burrito, but filled with meat and chicken, I ordered a hamburger with three meats. After that we had a few beers and it was late, we had to leave. When the bill arrived (I didn't worry because I had enough money in my account) I went to the cashier to cancel, I gave my card and the young lady who was collecting the money very kindly shouted INSUFFICIENT FUND.

Le dije... pasala otra vez que en esa tarjeta, en ese banco había plata. Nuevamente FONDO INSUFICIENTE me repite a lo que me dice- ¿No tienes otra tarjeta? Le respondo – Si claro! Pase esta otra, nuevamente FONDO INSUFICIENTE. Ya estaba empezando a sudar frio no sabía qué hacer, a lo que llega Janet a la caja y me pregunta si había ocurrido algo? Yo le respondo – No tranquila ya estoy resolviendo y la chica de la caja le responde, - Las tarjetas del chico no tiene fondo.

I told him... pass it again that there was money in that card, in that bank. Again FONDO INSUFFICIENT repeats what he says to me - Don't you have another card? I replied - Yes, of course! Swipe this other one, again INSUFFICIENT FUND. I was already breaking out in a cold sweat, I didn't know what to do, when Janet arrived at the cashier's desk and asked me if anything had happened? I answer - No, don't worry, I'm working on it and the girl at the cashier's desk replies, - The boy's cards have no background.

La cara de Janet cambio en cuestión de segundos, y le respondió a la cajera – Yo pago, al yo reaccionar con un No rotundo, entre a mi cuenta del banco y salía que habían realizado u transferencia a la cuenta de mi mama por casi la mitad del dinero que tenía y por eso no podía cancelar la cuenta.

Cancele todo lo que tenía en ese banco y el restante con la tarjeta del otro banco.

Al salir de ahí me pregunto si haríamos algo más, pero ya no poseía nada de dinero y le dije que no, la acompañe a la parada del bus y nos despedimos.

Janet's face changed in a matter of seconds, and she responded to the teller - I'll pay, when I reacted with a resounding No, I went to my bank account and it came out that they had made a transfer to my mother's account for almost half of the money I had and that's why I couldn't cancel the account.
I cancelled everything I had in that bank and the rest with the other bank's card.
When I left she asked me if we would do anything else, but I no longer had any money and I said no, I accompanied her to the bus stop and we said goodbye.

Al llegar a casa le pregunto a mi mama que si ella de casualidad había entrado a mi cuenta y realizado una transferencia. Y ella muy honesta me dice que – Si, necesitaba pagar unas cosas y no tenía en mi cuenta.

Después de lo sucedido la llame y no respondía las llamadas, ni los whastapp, ni por ninguna red social. Ese fue el último día que hable con la que creí era el amor de mi vida.

When I got home I asked my mom if she had by any chance entered my account and made a transfer. And she very honestly told me that - Yes, I needed to pay some things and I did not have it in my account.
After what happened I called her and she did not answer the calls, nor the whastapp, nor by any social network. That was the last day I talked to the one I thought was the love of my life.

El día que la tarjeta dijo FONDO INSUFICIENTE.
