SEAPHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST - WEEK 100 — The Aphrodite's Bay in Cyprus

I was trying to find something special for the special Week 100 of the Sea Photography Contest leading by @marc-allaria. I have a good number of picturesque sunsets which paint the sea pink, red, orange or even gold. But when I came across this picture, I decided to present it. This photo was taken by me this summer in Cyprus. The place is called Aphrodite's Bay. By the legend, Aphrodite was born there, and it is not difficult to believe when you are standing on the shore looking at the impossibly blue water of the bay.

This is a picture of the sea of my winter dreams. Well, not only of winter time. Actually, all the year, all the time when I am far from it, in the northern country, where I live, I see it in my night dreams. You will probably laugh but I have a special place in my flat which reminds me about the southern sea and makes my waiting for the summer easier. It cannot substitute the real sea, but... Here it is, in the floor of my kitchen:
