My name is Ola Kayode,I'm a Nigerian and a self-taught artist and graphic designer . I'm so happy to be here after hearing alot about this amazing platform. Below is an introduction about me.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

I had my primary school education between 2000-2005. I proceeded to my secondary education in the year 2005 to 2011. I gained admission into the university of Ilorin in the 2013 for a Bachelor degree in Linguistics and I graduated in the year 2017.

WHAT I DO

I've been passionate about art and designs since childhood and later on developed my skills in both ball point and Pencil drawings.

Art gives me joy and I feel fulfilled whenever I draw. Art as we know is a wide field and there are great artist that has motivated to delve more into art. Artists like Jono Dry and the Nigeria ball point artist Oscar Ukonu are the two artists whose art career has driven me thus far.
Choosing art as a career has been challenging and different questions had been dropping on my mind which is "what am I going to do differently from other artists, dead or alive? ", this question happens to be a lifestyle and a trend. But, I want my art to communicate culture most especially the African culture and lifestyle. Graphics on the other hand came as a form of exploring into designs and the beauty of colours.

HOW I GOT TO KNOW ABOUT HIVE

I got to know about hive through a fsllow artist fdiend whonis alsl an hiver here with the name @gloriaolar. She has been talking about hive for a while now and finally she enlightened me on how to create an account and here I am. I'm so grateful for this opportunity and i hope to make the best of it.
