Day 2: If you had the opportunity to change careers, what would it be and why? // Si tuvieras la oportunidad de cambiar de carrera, ¿Cuál sería y por qué?
I really like my career because I was passionate about biology from a very young age but I must be completely honest it was never my first option, since always my dream was to study forensic medicine, unfortunately at that time the conditions were not right for me to make that dream come true so I decided on my second option and I went to study biology.
In short, if I could turn back time or change careers, I think I would not think twice, in Venezuela this career is not dictated as such so you have to study other careers before, but there are institutes that dictate diplomas and specializations in forensic medicine For medical graduates, this career is responsible for determining the causes that led to the death of an individual through a medical examination that is performed on the corpse, I must admit that at home nobody liked the idea of studying this career but for me it was and will always be my dream career.
Me gusta mucho mi carrera pues la biología me apasionaba desde muy pequeña pero debo ser completamente sincera nunca fue mi primera opción, desde siempre mi sueño era estudiar medicina forense, lamentablemente en ese momento las condiciones no estaban dadas para que yo pudiera hacer realidad ese sueño por lo que me decidí por mi segunda opción y me fui a estudiar biología.
En definitiva si pudiera devolver el tiempo o cambiar de carrera creo que no lo pensaría dos veces, en Venezuela no se dicta esta carrera como tal por lo que hay que estudiar antes otras carreras, pero si hay institutos que dictar diplomados y especializaciones de medicina forense para los graduados en medicina, esta carrera se encarga de determinar las causas que originaron la muerte de un individuo a través de un examen médico que se le practica al cadáver, debo admitir que en casa a nadie le agradaba la idea de que estudiara esta carrera pero para mí era y será siempre mi carrera soñada.
I think that if we are not really sure about studying a career along the way, we can change our mind because it is valid to go for what we are really passionate about, just as it is never too late to pursue a dream sometimes it is not just going back in time sometimes it is try to invest what we have in what we really want.
Creo que si no estamos seguros realmente de estudiar una carrera en el camino podemos cambiar de opinión pues es válido ir por lo que realmente nos apasiona, al igual que nunca es tarde para perseguir un sueño a veces no solo es retroceder el tiempo a veces se trata de invertir el que tenemos en lo que verdaderamente queremos.
