Making a jacket for the first time
Hello Hiveians
Its the first time am trying a jacket pattern for me.
I used my body measurement to draw an exclusive free hand pattern on a brown paper to derive a sketch that will give me the pattern for the jacket.
Afterwords I placed the pattern on fabrics and cut each pieces out
I love purple color and decided to get this purple designed fabrics from the market for my jacket.
sketching the front pattern was a little more tasking, I have to create a space for the label and attached collar.

Designing a jacket is a whole lot of work, that I just knew after starting mine.
I hope you share the final look. The Purple is actually nice.
It seems we're in sync cos I'm making a jacket too but with a different collar. I left it cos I haven't figured out the pocket pattern yet.
Wow, this is good news... I also had to pause because of light, I need to add some interface with electricity.
I really can't wait to get this done.
