This quote is self-explanatory - however I will add my two pennies worth.
We are living in strange times. However, the lockdown might have provided opportunities for reflection or ponderance and even time for exploring topics and ideas that we would not have time for or interest in.
In doing so, we might even examine our perspectives regarding our lives, family and friends, government and media.

History is always being made and now we are a part of a unique time in history.

When we look back in 5-10 years:

  • We will not only remember the key players in the media,
  • We will remember everything about how we felt and most certainly where we were (that is easy - mostly at home - in lockdown.)

When we look back on this period in 5-10 years - I wonder what we will think about our own behaviorS and actions. Hindsight is 20/20 - so we can already preempt any reprimand of self or from others.

  • Is there anything that we can do differently today?
  • Are we the change that we want to see?

I love the quote and your 2 cents but regarding this question and amidst the pandemic; people are beginning to awaken to the truth that life is for a while and tomorrow isn't promised. People are beginning to amend broken relationships, to love again and rebuild or build bonds with distant and close ties. People just want to breath in the now cos nothing else matters.

Aww - this is such a beautiful and correct response. I have observed this behavior and it is beautiful to see. I have also observed the opposite as well where people carried as though it is business as usual. I am often amazed but like to focus on the former observation.
