And there are even many stores that reflect the value of their products directly in dollars, although this also goes against the laws of the country, since all prices must be reflected in the local currency, and it is not something that is done secretly, it is a kind of open secret, which is reflected in large chain stores nationwide.

Now the million dollar question, how do Venezuelans survive? Some companies offer their workers a bag of food with about 15 or 20 products on top of their salary, so many work for food, other industries a little more conscious have dollarized their salaries and range from 30 to 80 dollars a month.

Some Venezuelans work through teleworking for companies outside the country, for a lower salary than the company would normally pay, but much higher than the salary that can be generated in Venezuela. Lo primero para aclarar, ya que puede que este concepto no se use en otros países, es ¿Qué es un sueldo mínimo? Es un sueldo establecido para asegurar un ingreso a los trabajadores que les permita alimentarse, esto aplica para las sector público y privado. En teoría es una forma garantizar la alimentación de la población que trabaja.

Con este concepto claro, solo queda decir que el monto fijado para el sueldo mínimo vigente en el país es de 400.000 Bs más un bono de alimentación de 400.000 Bs ¿y a cuanto equivale este sueldo en dólares?

Ya con todo esto claro vayamos a la calle a comprar, aunque debo resaltar que el valor de los productos varia de un estado a otro, haciendo la vida un más cara, que en la localidad en la que me resido actualmente. Ahora sin más preámbulos veamos ¿cómo se ve un sueldo mínimo en productos?

Entre todas estas situaciones inauditas que vivimos, siempre hay una más insólita que la anterior; por ejemplo en muchos supermercados no colocan los precios por la fluctuación constante de los mismos, aunque esto rompe la ley venezolana. E incluso existen muchísimas tiendas que reflejan el valor de sus productos directamente en dolares, aunque esto también va en contra de las leyes del país, ya que todos los precios deben estar reflejados en la moneda local, y no es algo que se haga a escondidas, es una especie de secreto a voces, que se refleja en grandes cadenas de tiendas a nivel nacional.

La pregunta del millón de dolares, ¿como sobreviven los venezolanos? algunas empresas ofrecen a sus trabajadores una bolsa de comida con unos 15 o 20 productos aparte del sueldo, así que muchos trabajan por comida, otras industrias un poco más conscientes han dolarizados sus sueldos y oscilan entre 30 a 80 dolares mensuales.

Algunos venezolanos trabajan a través del tele trabajo para compañías fuera del país, por un sueldo más bajo del que normalmente pagaría la empresa, pero mucho más alto que el sueldo que se puede generar en Venezuela. Por otra lado, una parte de nuestra población emigro a donde pudo, algunos con títulos universitarios y bien preparados, y otros movidos simplemente por el hambre y la desesperación.

Como consecuencia del punto anterior, de los que están el país, una gran cantidad de personas se sustenta de las remesas que logran enviar sus familiares, padres, hijos, hermanos, incluso logrando emprendimientos de ventas de comida en su casas, y aunque es admirable la búsqueda de soluciones, esto no nos aleja del problema, ya que en estas casas no se pagan impuestos, no generan empleos a terceros, y en ocasiones no están equipadas para el almacenamiento correcto de diversos productos.

Finalmente una parte pequeña de la población vive de la corrupción, la burocracia, y las y mafias con comida, medicina, gasolina, procesos legales, solicitudes de documentos personales, entre otros.
