Preparation of foundation

Here is day two of building a house, day two for you here on my blog, for us is already day 4th. :D So, we started by leveling area for foundation with leveler. Our house will be 10m by 10m and it will be leveled with our old house, same height of zero level elevation.

Yesterday while we were digging ground excavator broke our water pipe that is made of plastic so we had to fix it by using water coupling material. It was done pretty fast because we had material for it. :D

My grandpa came to help us by removing nails from old wooden planks because we will use them for making foundation. He just love doing this, back in the days when he was younger he was building houses from start to finish so this isn't hard job for him.

While grandpa was removing nails, other were preparing planks for foundation, some of them were cutting planks and some of them preparing for assembly. Our youngest helper was bitten by a bee but he was good after few minutes. :D

I haven't been there while they were working with concrete so I just photographed after work, this was just concrete for preparation of foundation. Our friend dog just stepped on concrete, he wanted to see it pretty close and just stepped on it. :D

And yeah, cat was there just looking at people who were working... :D
