One could say that while Justin was the worst thing that could ever happen to Steem...at the same time he is a blessing to Hive!!!

MOVING-FORWARD.jpg

Wherever you look at, left or right there are so many people bragging about their crypto expertise or how smart they were by being involved in BTC since its very early days , 2009 - 2013...when 99.9999999% of the world had no clue what BTC was...

I highly doubt if 5% of those stories are true...

I on the other hand belong to that 99.99999% of the population who had no clue what BTC was. As a matter of fact not only I had no clue anything crypto, but my gateway to this amazing world was Steem.

Yeah I know...always late to the party...more or less the story of my life...

One could say that 2.5 years of experience in the crypto sphere is nothing when compared to the experts mentioned above, but it is what it is.

The point I was trying to make is that 2.5 years after that confirmation email I received from the Steemit team (one that has nothing to do with how things look like at the headquarters right now) that I was officially a Steemian, was actually a gift...

Because the more active I was, the more I was educated.

I was reading a lot of crypto related posts back in the day. And when I say a lot I mean a loooot. I still do actually.

I am pretty sure that you know exactly what I mean. How many times have you found yourselves in a situation where you are desperately trying to explain to a friend or a family member terms such as "blockchain" or "witness" or even "BTC" and you've miserably failed?

Don't fool yourselves...90%+ of all active users on Steem and now on Hive, have been educated, crypto-wise, and in most cases...for free.

Last time I've checked...education in the real / online world was far from cheap...let alone completely FREE.

Fast forward to the recent events that are taking place on Steem since Justin Sun's arrival, only one word can properly describe this mess caused by his actions.

Sadness...

Steem isn't broken...People in charge on the other hand....

Steem is working like a charm...keeps producing blocks every 3 seconds and executing the code flawlessly...The only difference nowadays compared to a few months ago, when there was no Justin, but only Ned his guitar and his incompetence, is that the code is malicious.

Who would have thought that things will play out this way? Definitely not me...

Steem was my anxiolytic...no shit. And guess what...the only thing I care about right now is to safely transfer my investment / stake off of there week after week.

That torture...the anxiety....could the next name on Justin's blacklist by mine...? A friend's maybe...who knows...?

He completely fucked up a promising project.

But at the same time he was the reason for Hive's inception!

The best part? While he keeps fighting ex-Steem users and doing everything in his powers to prevent big Steem investors from dumping their coins by including them in that shit list, unintentionally he promotes HIVE to thousands of people who have been watching this story unfolding for the past 2 months...

One could say that while he was the worst thing that could happen to Steem...at the same time he is to Hive.

Thoughts?
