Hoy les traigo un sencillo paso a paso de como hacer un llavero con pompones y borlas. Perfectos para lucirlos en carteras, bolsos, morrales y por supuesto junto con las llaves.
Today I bring you a simple step-by-step guide on how to make a key ring with pompoms and tassels. Perfect to wear on wallets, purses, backpacks and of course with the keys.

El primer paso es enrollar el hilo de tejer en una pieza de cartón, puede ser de 2 a 4 cm de ancho. Es recomendable darle 60 a 80 vueltas para que el pompón quede bonito.
The first step is to wind the weaving thread on a piece of cardboard, it can be from 2 to 4 cm wide. It is advisable to give it 60 to 80 turns so that the pompom looks nice.
Después, con ayuda de la aguja se pasa un pedazo de hilo y se ata alrededor de todas las vueltas que se hicieron.
Then, with the help of the needle, a piece of thread is passed and tied around all the turns that were made.
Luego, con mucho cuidado se sacan los hilos del cartón para recortarlos. Para darle forma de pompón se comienzan a emparejar los hilos y con ayuda de las manos se comienza se les da una forma circular.
Then carefully remove the threads from the cardboard and cut them out. To give it a pompom shape, the threads are matched and with the help of the hands they are given a circular shape.
Para realizar la borla es el mismo proceso pero la única diferencia es que estas se van a cortar por la parte de abajo y el hilo se le amarrara en la parte de arriba. Para darle un acabado más prolijo a la borla, se recortan las puntas de los hilos (el trozo de cartón debe medir entre 4 a 5 cm de alto).
To make the tassel is the same process but the only difference is that they will be cut from the bottom and the thread will be tied at the top. To give the tassel a neater finish, the ends of the threads are cut off (the piece of cardboard should be between 4 and 5 cm high).
Ahora para realizar el llavero, se introduce una aguja con yute o hilo por el centro de la borla y luego se comienza a introducir las piedras y el mismo proceso se hace con el pompón.
Now to make the key ring, a needle with jute or thread is introduced through the center of the tassel and then the stones are introduced and the same process is done with the pompom.
Para finalizar, se le coloca un gancho el cual va amarrado con el yute o hilo.
To finish, a hook is placed on it which is tied with the jute or thread.
