HOW TO PRODUCE NATURAL FERTILIZER (COMPOST)
Hello my friends from Hive I hope you are well, this time I am going to show you how I make my natural fertilizer.
Almost every day we generate organic waste in our home when we are preparing our food, few of us realize this small detail.
The waste to which I refer are:
- Eggshells, fruits.
- Vegetable remains, vegetables.
- Clear coffee (what remains in the coladaor when making our coffee).
Elaboration Process
The procedure consists of the following:
Whenever we make stews, salads, soups and juices we are generating these organic wastes, you wonder how? When we chop our vegetables, vegetables and fruits, the shells of these are the organic waste that I use for my fertilizer.
Tips as I generate waste, I keep it in the refrigerator so that it is not damaged until the day it undergoes the decomposition process.
When I have a certain amount of accumulated waste, I proceed to chop them so that the decomposition process is faster.
We proceed to pour the waste into a hole in the ground or container and cover it with soil, you can also add old leaves of your plants, if you have earthworms with a scientific name (Lumbricus terrestris) you can also put it with the waste they help to speed up the decomposition process. It is moistened every 3 days and it is removed weekly, after 30 days you can notice the difference in the waste that is decomposing and becomes fertilized land ... this land is what I use for my plants.
