Hace unos añitos despertó en mí el amor por la costura, comenzando a hacerlo de manera manual porque no tenía máquina de coser. Con el tiempo una tía me cedió una Singer viejita que tenían guardada ya que ella había adquirido una nueva, más actualizada.
A few years ago my love for sewing awoke in me, starting to do it manually because I didn't have a sewing machine. Eventually an aunt gave me an old Singer that they had in storage since she had acquired a new, more updated one.
Con esta máquina me inicié en la costura ya de una manera más formal para crear mis prendas y las de mis hijos. Es una maquinita muy vieja pero gracias a los arreglos y mantenimiento que le hago constantemente aún se mantiene en buenas condiciones, aunque hay cosas que no le funcionan y el técnico me comentó que por lo vieja ya no se consiguen los repuestos.
Por supuesto siempre me quise comprar una máquina nueva que me pudiera cumplir a cabalidad todas las funciones que se requiere en este tipo de oficio, ese deseo era compartido con mi hija @lucianav, se mantuvo por mucho tiempo y decíamos que en algún momento se me daría.
With this machine I started sewing in a more formal way to create my garments and those of my children. It is a very old machine but thanks to the repairs and maintenance that I do constantly it is still in good condition, although there are things that do not work and the technician told me that because it is so old they can no longer get the spare parts.
Of course I always wanted to buy a new machine that could fulfill all the functions required in this type of work, this desire was shared with my daughter @lucianav, it was maintained for a long time and we said that at some point I would get it.
No tengo mucho tiempo en HIVE pero he tratado de ser constante en mis publicaciones, mi hija @ lucianav si lleva ya su tiempo y gracias a esta plataforma a podido adquirir sus herramientas de trabajo. Una noche de manera espontanea sin planearlo ella revisa un catalogo y ve una máquina a muy buen precio y me comenta; yo al verla por supuesto quede enamorada, obviamente yo no tenía esa cantidad de dinero, además que la máquina no estaba acá en Venezuela sino fuera del país, lo ví complicado, pero ella como a todo le busca la vuelta y lo vio como una gran oportunidad que no podía dejar pasar, hizo los contactos, hizo cuentas y entre las de ellas en HIVE y las mías la pidió. y luego me dijo LISTO MAMI ahora nos queda esperar que llegue.

Llegó el día en que debíamos ir a buscarla y sólo con ver la caja fui feliz. Es una Broother con 16 puntadas, bordados y funciones que aún no termino de revisar jajaja.
The day came when we had to go to pick her up and just by seeing the box I was happy. It is a Broother with 16 stitches, embroidery and functions that I still have not finished reviewing hahaha.
Trajo sus manuales muy importantes de tener en cuenta para darle un buen uso y mejorar su calidad de uso. Así, como porta bobinas, destornillador, agujas, pedal y cables de corriente.
It came with its manuals, very important to take into account to give it a good use and improve its quality of use.
Agradezco a HIVE por haberme ayudado a cumplir mi sueño al poder adquirir esta belleza con la que ahora podré perfeccionar mis técnicas de costura y a Dios por tener una hija tan arriesgada, bondadosa y amorosa que hace todo lo que puede por vernos felices.

Hola, gracias. Si, es una satisfacción muy grande, la costura también a formado parte de toda mi vida ya que mi mamá fue costurera y ahora yo me dedico a hacerlo.
