Decorating a nice cake for my Nephew 🎂

El mes de mayo es uno de los meses donde más familiares cumplen años, uno de ellos es mi sobrino y además ahijado Luis Alejandro y para este año mi cuñada me pidió que le decorara la torta ya que ellas se encargarían de hacerla pero no de decorarla.

La trota era de chocolate y querían rellenarla con crema de chocolate; la decoración sería una imagen de referencia del internet. Así que me dispuse a colaborarles.

The month of May is one of the months where more family members have birthdays, one of them one of my godchildren and nephew and for this year my sister-in-law asked me to decorate the cake since they would be in charge of making it but not decorating it.
The cake was chocolate and they wanted to fill it with chocolate cream and the decoration would be a reference image from the internet. So I set out to help them.

Necesitamos/We need

Crema de Chocolate.
Merengue a base de huevo y azúcar.

Chocolate cream.

Egg and sugar based meringue.

Paso a Paso/step by step

Tomé la torta, la pique a la mitad y la rellené con la crema de chocolate. Volví a colocar la otra mitad encima.

I took the cake, cut it in half and filled it with the chocolate cream. I put the other half on top.

Con la crema a base de clara de huevos y melado de azúcar inicié la decoración con una base lisa en toda la extensión de la torta.

With the cream based on egg white and sugar syrup, I started the decoration with a smooth base along the entire length of the cake.

Tomé una bolsa para improvisar una manga y usarla para realizar las decoraciones con un poco dela crema de chocolate que reservé. Comencé por escribir el feliz cumpleaños.

I took a bag to improvise a piping bag and used it to make the decorations with some of the chocolate cream I reserved. I started by writing happy birthday.

Luego según la decoración que querían tomé unas galletas y chocolates y las distribuí en ciertas zonas del borde y centro de la torta.

Then according to the decoration they wanted I took some cookies and chocolates and distributed them in certain areas of the edge and center of the cake.

Haciendo uso de una manga comercial sencilla, formé flores de crema blanca y le coloqué galletas.

Using a simple commercial piping bag, I formed white cream flowers and placed cookies on them.

Continué con puntos sencillos de chocolate, entre flores y enrollados. Un poco de chispas de chocolate.

I continued with simple chocolate dots, between flowers and rolled up. A little bit of chocolate chips.

Coloqué enrollados de crema blanca por todo el borde.

I placed white cream rolls all around the edge.

Y listo !!! una sencilla pero muy linda decoración para un galán que celebró sus 14 años... Felicidades Luis.

Espero les haya gustado como a mí, esta linda decoración.

And that's it!!! a simple but very nice decoration for a boy who celebrated his 14th birthday.... Congratulations Luis.
