I have a desire, o better said: a dream....

I Want to be bilingual

Like all dreams, if you want it come true, you have to have goals, planns, very discipline and constancy. But you can be relax, just need try.

So, I want to tell you my history...

Tengo un deseo, o mejor dicho: un sueño.

Quiero ser bilingüe

Como todos los sueños, si quieres que se hagan realidad, tienes que tener objetivos, planes, mucha disciplina y constancia. Pero podemos relajarnos, sólo hay que intentarlo.

Por eso, quiero contarte mi historia...

Firstly, when I was at secundary on my first year, we didn't have a english teacher, I was really sad, and I was conscius about how important was learning english for my future, So, my mom found a teacher near my home and all weeks she gave me english classes and with that I made the basis of my futuro second language. The rest of years I had a few teachers but nothing important, they were intermittent and we didn'd have another option.

At university I took some instrumental (of my career in that moment: Maths) english classes, It was intersting and I learnd a lot, especially vocabulary. But even I was far of my goal.

Then, I decided took a specialized english course for nine months, in this course i learned a lot, an I begin to speak more fluenty... but There wasn't enought for me, I wanted MORE.

En primer lugar, cuando estaba en secundaria en mi primer año, no teníamos un profesor de inglés, estaba muy triste, y era consciente de lo importante que era aprender inglés para mi futuro, así que, mi madre encontró un profesor cerca de mi casa y todas las semanas me dio clases de inglés y con eso hice la base de mi futuro segundo idioma. El resto de años tuve algunos profesores pero nada importante, eran intermitentes y no teníamos otra opción.

En la universidad tomé algunas clases de inglés instrumental (de mi carrera en ese momento: Matemáticas), fue interesante y aprendí mucho, sobre todo vocabulario. Pero aún así estaba lejos de mi objetivo.

Entonces, decidí tomar un curso de inglés especializado durante nueve meses, en este curso aprendí mucho, y empecé a hablar con más fluidez... pero no era suficiente para mí, quería MÁS.

So, after a couple a years and I had been waiting for more economic estability I started a online classes and I have to say that It is
¡the best decision that I had!

I begin the last year with my teacher @heyravegas, I had my classes twice a week at night, we first used skype and digital books with exercises of writing, reading and especialy conversation.
After that I had to made a pause but since this month we are working together again, but this time my goddoughter @ambarvegas (Heyra's daughther) is in class with me, so I learn more and it is more fun.

Now, we are using Zoom now, and our classes are even more interactive and interesting, Heyra always share her screen with text, audios and exercises.

Así que, después de un par de años y a la espera de una mayor estabilidad económica empecé un curso online y tengo que decir que es **la mejor decisión que he tomado.

Comencé el año pasado con mi profesor @heyravegas, tenía mis clases dos veces por semana en la noche, primero usamos skype y libros digitales con ejercicios de escritura, lectura y especialmente conversación.
Después tuve que hacer una pausa pero desde este mes estamos trabajando juntos de nuevo, pero esta vez mi ahijada @ambarvegas (la hija de Heyra) está en clase conmigo, así que aprendo más y es más divertido.

Ahora estamos usando Zoom y nuestras clases son aún más interactivas e interesantes, Heyra siempre comparte su pantalla con textos, audios y ejercicios.

This picture is an example that how I usually take my classes: alone in my bedtroom, my computer, my notebook and my little and cute partner, my dog, Baco (Yes, It is possible that he is learning too, I'm going to try some orders with him, i will tell you).

So, If I could recomend something is that you must learn english or more languages, You must use all the tools that you can use, take classes, watch TV in english, read books o articles in englis, hear english music... And of course #HIVE is an a wonderfoul oportunity for learn english, Here there are a lot content in english and when we are traslating our text we can learn vocabulary, gramatical estructures and more! This is the information age.
WE MUST TAKE IT!

Esta foto es un ejemplo de cómo suelo tomar mis clases: sola en mi habitación, mi computadora, mi cuaderno y mi pequeño y bello compañero , mi perro, Baco (Sí, es posible que él también esté aprendiendo, voy a probar algunas órdenes con él, ya os contaré).
