A Wednesday to remember good times

Visit to the Botanical Garden of the City of Bogotá

In this opportunity I want to share with all of you a very special day for me which will be kept in my heart forever, it is the day I met the Botanical Garden of the City of Bogotá.

During my stay in the city of Bogota I had the opportunity to visit many tourist and symbolic places of this cosmopolitan city, since I arrived in Bogota exactly on June 16 I wanted to know as many parks, forests and gardens that are in the city of Bogota.

It was not until July, that I managed to visit this place in the company of three boys from New Granada. They took me to the Botanical Garden and showed me the whole place, I must tell you that it is a quite big natural physical space, it is one of the most important vegetal lungs of the city, it has more than a thousand botanical species of different classes and characteristics.

Many educational and social activities take place in this place, because it is a place with great beauty and its areas of enjoyment are in perfect condition.

If you wish to have a coffee, you can do so, there are three cafeterias along the Park and the facilities have multiple recreational spaces. The day we visited this place, a music video click was being shot, in another space several professional photographers were doing some photo sessions and in other places of the congregation a small conference was taking place where ecological themes were being exposed for children.

I love being free

It took us approximately 5 hours to visit this garden, of course, on some occasions we stopped to take pictures and contemplate the space. It is worth noting that we had to visit an area which was quite enormous and which was under restoration and could not be accessed.

That day was simply great, I enjoyed it as much as I could, I had never witnessed so many flowers of diverse characteristics and species in a single space.

If you ever have the opportunity to visit the city of Bogota do not hesitate to visit its extraordinary and welcoming Botanical Garden.
