Primero que nada debo comenzar deseándole un gran Feliz año nuevo a cada uno de los que lea esta publicación, espero puedan cumplir todas sus metas y propósitos para este 2021 y que de esta forma puedan seguir creciendo tanto personal como profesionalmente.
Después de 3 días de descanso por año nuevo hoy quiero mostrarles un resumen de los que considero mis mejores post del año pasado, me hubiera gustado hacer este post el 31 de diciembre y terminar el año con un resumen interesante.
Pero, ya que el 31 hice mi último post, consideré que era mejor hacerlo al inicio del 2021, publicarlo en estos días del comienzo del año me permite poder analizar y evaluar mejor cómo fue mi año 2020, además que de esta manera este post se convierta un punto de partida para lo que viene este nuevo año.
First of all I must begin by wishing a great Happy New Year to all who read this publication, I hope that they will be able to fulfill all their objectives and purposes for this 2021 and that in this way they can continue to grow both personally and professionally.
After 3 days of rest per new year today I want to show you a summary of what I consider my best post last year, I would have liked to do this post on December 31st and end the year with an interesting summary.
But since the 31st I did my last post, I considered that it was better to do it at the beginning of 2021, publishing it in these days of the beginning of the year allows me to better analyze and evaluate how my year 2020 went, besides that this post becomes a starting point for what is coming this new year.
Este fue un año realmente complejo para mí, pero a diferencia de muchos no lo califico como un "mal año".
Por cuestiones de la cuarentena no pude seguir con las clases presenciales en mi universidad y aunque hubo una modalidad online el no contar con una buena computadora que me permitiese realizar de manera cómoda y eficiente mis trabajos académicos tuve que tomar la decisión de no continuar y prácticamente perder un año de la carrera, año el cual comenzaré de nuevo este 2021, tuve un accidente y mis lentes se rompieron y no tenía dinero para comprar unos nuevos, me fracturé el dedo anular de la mano derecha y me rompí la primera falange, se dañó mi antiguo celular el cual tenía como 9 años conmigo y a pesar de eso y muchos otros problemas personales yo siento que este fue bastante bueno conmigo.
Por suerte la fractura del dedo no me impidió seguir con mi vida normalmente y aunque no pude operarlo ya que hacía falta no es algo que me afecte tanto directamente, gracias a que era la mano derecha y no la izquierda ya que soy zurdo pude seguir ilustrando perfectamente y por suerte conozco a muchas personas así que hice muchas ilustraciones de ellos y el dinero que cobré me sirvió para comprar los nuevos lentes, mi hermano me regaló y mandó un nuevo celular desde Perú, mucho mejor que el que tenía, así que definitivamente mi año no estuvo tan mal, estuvo bastante movido pero eso lo hizo un año interesante y lleno de muchos aprendizajes.
This was a very complex year for me, but unlike many I can't rate it as a "bad year."
Due to quarantine, I was unable to continue with face-to-face classes at my university and although there was an online modality, not having a good computer that would allow me to perform my academic work comfortably and efficiently I had to make the decision not to continue and practically lose a year of the race, year that I will start again this 2021 I had an accident and my glasses broke and I had no money to buy new ones, I fractured my right hand's ring finger and broke the first phalanx, my old cell phone that was like 9 years with me was damaged and despite that and many other personal problems I feel like this year was pretty good with me.
Luckily the broken finger didn't stop me from continuing with my life normally and although I couldn't operate on it as it was necessary, it's not something that will affect me so much directly. Because it was the right hand and not the left hand since I am left-handed I was able to continue illustrating perfectly and fortunately I know a lot of people so I made many illustrations of them and the money I got served me to buy the new glasses, my brother gave me and sent me a new cell phone from Peru, much better than the one I had , so definitely my year was not so bad, it was quite busy but that made it an interesting year full of many learnings.
Por supuesto si no estaba estudiando tenía que trabajar, y ahí es donde entra una maravillosa plataforma llamada Hive, no se si la conocen pero deberían ir a darle un vistazo, es realmente fascinante. Gracias a Hive pude trabajar desde casa haciendo lo que me gusta y aparte recibiendo un pago por ello, publicando mis fotos, ilustraciones, procesos, anécdotas y experiencias pude trabajar y ayudar con el dinero a mi familia ya que bueno la situación en cuarentena no fue nada fácil, pero como les digo, gracias a Hive pude ser de ayuda y aparte reunir algo de dinero para comprarme cosas nuevas.
El trabajo en Hive es tan divertido y cómodo que ni siquiera siento que es un trabajo si no parte de mi rutina diaria. Pero bueno, ya que les conté un poco sobre cómo fue para mí este año es hora de hablarles sobre el tema principal de hoy, mi mejor post de 2020, están organizados en orden cronológico desde el más antiguo hasta el último que hice.
Of course if she wasn't studying she had to work, and that's where a wonderful platform called Hive comes in, I don't know if you know her but you should go take a look at it, it's really fascinating. Thanks to Hive I was able to work from home doing what I like and apart receiving a payment for it, publishing my photos, illustrations, processes, anecdotes and experiences I was able to work and help with the money to my family since so the quarantined situation was not easy, but as I tell you, thanks to Hive I was able to help and raise some money to buy new things.
The work at Hive is so fun and comfortable that I don't even feel like it's a job but part of my daily routine,. But well, since I told you a little bit about how it was for me this year it's time to talk to you about today's main topic, my best post of 2020, they're organized in chronological order from the oldest to the last I did.

Este año estuvo lleno de ilustraciones muy buenas y menos malo porque necesitaba dinero y estas ilustraciones me ayudaron a conseguirlo jajajajaja, esta en concreto fue parte del inktober de este año, y aunque solo hice como 3 ilustraciones para este reto pude probar cosas nuevas y muy geniales como la ilustracion digital.

This year was full of very good illustrations and I'm glad of that, because I needed money and these illustrations helped me get it haha, this one in particular was part of this year's inktober, and although I only did as 3 illustrations for this challenge I was able to try new and very interesting things like digital illustration.

Esta es otra de las ilustraciones que realicé este año y una de las que me ayudó a recaudar dinero para los lentes nuevos, al igual que la anterior todo el proceso de como la hice se las dejo en el link de acá abajo.
Incluso pude hacer unos vídeos bastante interesantes de las ilustraciones, estos los encontraran en cada post, así que vayan al link a verlos.
This is another of the illustrations I made this year and one of those that helped me raise money for my new lenses, as well as the previous one the whole process of how I did I leave them in the following link.

Una de las modelos y protagonistas mas hermosas de mis fotografías este año fue mi gata Sarah a la cual le hice muchas fotos bastante bonitas, esta sesión en concreto es una de mis favoritas, pero cada vez que le tomo fotos salen unas capturas bastante buenas.

One of the most beautiful models and protagonists of my photographs this year was my cat Sarah to which I made many pretty photos, this particular session is one of my favorites, but every time I take pictures come out some pretty good catches.

Por aquí otra de las ilustraciones mas geniales que hice este año, una combinación de tinta china con acuarelas y lapices de colores bastante espectacular, el proceso de creción de ella estuvo bastante interesante, incluso pude grabar un video de ello y un video final de la ilustración bastante interesante.

Over here another of the coolest illustrations I did this year, a combination of Chinese ink with watercolors and colored pencils, the creation process was quite interesting, I was even able to record a video of how it was and a final video of the illustration quite dynamic and interesting.

Les comenté que me regalaron un nuevo teléfono ¿cierto? bueno este pequeño celular para mí fue como una bendición ya que tiene una cámara que a pesar de no tener tantos mpx (solo 13)tiene un enfoque y una calidad brutal, con el pude hacer varios experimentos fotográficos bastante buenos como lo fueron estas fotos, e incluso un vídeo promocional de esta cámara.
Con el grabé también todos los vídeos que verán de las ilustraciones que se encuentren en mi blog.
I told them they gave me a new phone, didn't I? This little cell phone for me was like a blessing as it has a camera that despite not having as many mpx (only 13) has a brutal focus and good quality, with which I was able to do several pretty good photo experiments, these photos and even a promotional video of this camera is one of them.

Este año estuvo lleno de muy buenas fotos y aparte muy buenas experiencias, esta fue una de las sesiones mas geniales que pude hacer este año, conocí a unos chicos que son cantantes de mi ciudad y me contrataron para unas sesiones de fotos bastante interesantes esta fue una de ellas.

This year was full of very good photos and apart very good experiences, this was one of the coolest sessions I could do this year, I met some guys who are singers from my city and they hired me for some pretty interesting photo shoots this was one of them.

Esta fue una de las sesiones en blanco y negro que mas me gustó, un toque de misterio a escala de grises, fue una sesión que hice con mi amigo Jevi en un estudio casero que armamos en su casa, y para probar la cámara que teníamos hicimos varias sesiones allí.
This was one of the black and white sessions that I liked the most, a touch of grayscale mystery, it was a session I did with my friend Jevi in a home studio that we put together in his house, and to test the camera we had we did several sessions there.

Otra de las sesiones interesantes que hice en este año fue sin duda esta, una sesión bastante experimental con mi amigo Jevi donde pusimos a prueba la cámara que teníamos en condiciones de baja iluminación para hacer juegos con el flash del celular y un papel de color que teníamos a la mano.
Another interesting session I did this year was undoubtedly this, a rather experimental session with my friend Jevi where we tested the camera we had in low lighting conditions to make games with the cell phone flash and a colored paper that we had at hand.

Este trabajo fue uno de los mas divertidos de este año no solo porque fue un reto para mí hacer estas letras, si no también porque la persona que me mandó a realizar este trabajo aunque no la conocía en persona resultó ser una prima lejana de mi familia materna. Una de las anécdotas mas locas de este año.
This work was one of the funniest of this year not only because it was a challenge for me to do these lyrics, but also because the person who sent me to do this job even though I didn't know her in person turned out to be a distant cousin of my maternal family. One of this year's craziest anecdotes.

Uno de los concursos mas interesantes en los que logré participar y ser parte de los ganadores fue el Shadow hunter, reto bastante peculiar pero que sin duda no dejaré de hacer ya que te motiva a capturar momentos bastante interesantes donde las sombras forman parte principal de tus fotografías.
One of the most interesting contests in which I managed to participate and be part of the winners was the Shadow hunter, a rather peculiar challenge but that I will certainly not stop doing since it motivates you to capture quite interesting moments where shadows are the main part of your photographs.

Uno de los post que mas rápido generó interacción y de una manera muy inesperada para mí fue este, unas bonitas fotos a un pequeño buda muy sonriente que encontré en mi casa y el cual me sirvió para practicar un poco de fotografía de producto en caaa.
One of the posts that generated interaction faster and in a very unexpected way for me, was this, beautiful photos of a very smiling little Buddha that I found in my house and that helped me practice some product photography in poop.

Una de las cosas nuevas que pude probar este año fue la fotografía callejera, logré captar momentos bastante interesantes y efímeros, una de las cosas que también pude capturar y que me pareció bastante especial e importante fue como es la vida callejera de varios perros sin hogar de mi ciudad y además intentar compartir un mensaje de apoyo a través de ellas.
One of the novelties I was able to try this year was street photography, I managed to capture quite interesting and ephemeral moments, one of the things that I could also capture and that I found quite special and important was, as is the street life of several homeless dogs in my city, and also try to share a message of support through these photographs.
