I continue with the series of posts dedicated to the distributions released by Ubuntu 20.10 "Groovy Gorilla". Those known as official flavors.

I have been a bit behind schedule with these publications as a result of unforeseen and urgent obligations that have kept me busy in recent days.

But again I am in the ring as the saying goes. I apologize for the delay considering that they have been released for more than 10 days but I hope to contribute something useful with this information.

Today I will talk about Ubuntu 20.10 "Groovy Gorilla".

Me he retrasado un poco con estas publicaciones como consencuencia de obligaciones imprevistas y urgentes que me han tenido ocupado en estos últimos días.

Pero de nuevo estoy en el ruedo como dice el refrán. Me disculpo poa la demora teniendo en cuenta que ya hace más de 10 días que han sido liberadas pero espero aportar algo de utilidad con esta información.

Hoy les hablaré de Kubuntu 20.10 "Groovy Gorilla".

Main changes in Kubuntu 20.10 "Groovy Gorilla".

• Easier to browse your files allowing you to find that important document, photo or video faster.
• A split view, an editable location, a built-in terminal, and many other useful features.
• The new version of Dolphin makes connecting your USB flash drives, SD cards, and your phone a breeze.
  
  
  
• Easily open and read any document with Open PDF, Dejavu, PS, DVI and other applications.
• A new Linux Kernel version 5.8 just like the other Kubuntu flavors.
• Discover unified design to seamlessly interact with other Plasma components.
• A wide variety of pre-installed applications among which the following stand out: Google Calendar, (to-do list), LibreOffice (Office productivity), Kmail (email client), Firefox updated to the latest version (web browser), Cantata (excellent player of music very useful to be able to manage our entire music collection and manage and / or create playlists among other things), graphics, photography, VLC (the well-known multimedia player that opens -almost-all files), etc.

• Support for 9 months, that is until July 2021.

Principales cambios en Kubuntu 20.10 "Groovy Gorilla".

• Una vista dividida, una ubicación editable, una terminal incorporada y muchas otras funciones útiles.
• La nueva versión de Dolphin hace que conectar sus unidades flash USB, tarjetas SD y tu teléfono sea muy fácil.
• Abrir y leer fácilmente culquier documento con Open PDF, Dejavu, PS, DVI y otras aplicaciones.
• Un nuevo Kernel de Linux la versión 5.8 al igual que los demás sabores Kubuntu.
• Diseño unificado de Discover para poder interactuar sin problemas con otros componentes de Plasma.
  
• Una gran variedad de aplicaciones preinstaladas entre las cuales se destacan: Google Calendar, (lista de tareas), LibreOffice (productividad Office), Kmail (cliente de correo electrónico), Firefox actualizado a la última versión (navegador web), Cantata (excelente reproductor de música muy útil para poder gestionar nuestra colección de música al completo y gestionar y/o crear listas de reproducción entre otras cosas), gráficos, fotografía, VLC (el conocido player multimedia que abre -casi-todos los archivos), etc
• Soporte de 9 meses, es decir hasta julio de 2021.
