Ramachandra Temple
In Katas Raj Temples one of the most preserved and well maintained temple is Ramachandra Temple. It is double story building with eight room. Mostly this building is closed and is only opened for limited tourists. In this building there are two jharokas (balconies) and very beautiful ceiling decoration.
Ramachandra Temple is very well decorated from inside and a lot of renovation work is undergoing. From temple you can take a view of the whole complex of Katas Raj Temples. From jharokas (balconies) you can see sacred pond which was created from the teardrops of god Shiva.
Many people visit roof from where you can also enjoy the full view of area. If you look closely you can see a lot of past decorations and paintings inside the temple.
In this temple they also had some secret tunnels to escape in case of attack on temple but now these tunnels are closed. Many Hindu tourists from Pakistan and from abroad visit this place.
