I'm Back at "Alonaki" Beach

Hello guys!

Living in Greece mid-Summer feels like you're living in an oven lol. IT'S SO HOT.

The temperature is over 32°C all day long so you can pretty much guess that the only solution to get away from the heatwave is to go for a refreshing road trip to one of the many beautiful beaches we have all over our country.

@Illusivelf had a day of from work so we decided to visit one of our favourite places to chill and that's Alonaki beach.

I have already shared a blog post about Alonaki the previous week so i won't go into details. You can find everything you need to know about this beach at the link bellow :

This time the beach was much more crowded than the last time I visited and that's logical. A ton of tourists from all over the world are arriving to Greece every day to spend their Summer vacation and who would't want to visit such an awesome beach?

We arrived there around 16:00, kinda late if you ask me but I couldn't leave the city sooned due to some business I needed to take care of.
We were lucky enough to find a really cool spot to set up our umbrella and enjoy the view.

The temperature was high but the sky was cloudy. That's not a bad thing if you ask me. I love the sun but high temperatures and sun is a killer combo. Be carefull when it's cloudy though. I suffered a sunstroke some years ago at a cloudy day like this one. The sun passes through the clouds even if we do feel it. I tend to not make the same mistakes twice so this time I stayed safely under my umbrella lol!

I didn't shot too many photos this time 'cause I have already blogged about Alonaki and shared a ton of photos (and a vlog) from the beach. I did shot a couple of photos from the beach canteen this time though.

The canteen owner is a funny man around 40 who has transformed the place above the beach into a sweet spot to enjoy an afternoon coffee or a drink. The prices are kinda expensive but the view is amazing!

We drank a cold Espresso while listening to reggae music and enjoying this awesome view! After we finished our coffee, it was time to return to Ioannina refreshed and relaxed.

Travelling is so addicting guys. Once I start hitting the road I just can't stop. So many unknown places to visit and explore around Greece.
