10 Days Of Drawing 05/10

Welcome to Ten Days Of Drawing Challenge. This is my personal challenge and I chose my own theme which is about caricature.

This is the 5th drawing already I'm halfway through yes! I almost forgot about writing this post I dozed off earlier than usual. Anyway I wanted to draw something with details that I find challenging and that is clothes with patterns.

So I found this on my social media feed and thought that the dress is perfect for my idea

These are the sketches I made notice I got three of them, each is quite different from the others. I can't get the right shape and angle plus the proportion.

Took me a while to get to this. Looking away from the camera is just right.

And now the most important part, the objective of this drawing : deal with patterns. So far so good I am loving the floral patterns on the dress

Last step the hair and the shadows. I am feeling good after seeing the final draft. Hope you like it too.

Ten Days Of Drawing Challenge is a series of drawing one makes on 10 consecutive days. I saw this on Instagram and I thought that I can also do it here. I love drawing and had been involved in creating drawings on some platforms or just simply for my own hobby. This challenge I believe I can accomplish given that I am always online and got lots of free time. It is a challenge so it is important not to miss a day. If you are interested you can create your own using any theme you prefer. In my case I chose to create caricatures. I'm still new with this kind of art and have no formal training. I think I will learn as I go along so be with me in my 10 day art journey.
