My Positive Message To The Society

Is this the end?
It is said that everything that has a beginning must have an end.

The above statement have been the hope that we all have been holding onto since the beginning of this pandemic. We were all advised to pass through that daring situation with resilience while hoping for something good to occur on the long run.

We have been receiving daily updates of the infected, the dead and also updates about those that recovered. Or course, anyone that witnessed this pandemic can attest to the fact that it was a nightmare.

We adopted new ways of life outside the conventional pattern that we were used to.

Businesses were hulted, travel plans were nullified, schools and many other institutions were placed under locks and keys. We became trapped within the walls of our homes.

An incident that started as a health issue later became an economic issue, political issue, psychological issue and a whole lots of everyother issue that you can think of.

We were asked to fight the enemy but nobody had a clear understanding of how to annihilate this enemy. It was more like a suicidal act because we were in a battlefield with an invisible enemy. All odds were against us but we did all that we can;

• We washed our hands with reckless abandon

• We maintained social distancing

• We bought face masks in different colour

• Sanitizers became our new brand of perfume

We did this and that all in an attempt to overcome an invisible enemy yet we heard 5, 50, 500, 5000, 50000, 500000... All these were death counts for Corona virus.

This unconventional pattern of survival had a huge impact in alot of people's life all over the world. It took a whole year but the goodnews is that smiles are already finding it's way back to people's face again.

What could be the reason?

It's all due to the progress that have been made in the fight against this Invisble enemy. The infection rate is still high but there are a lot of positives at the moment;

• Schools are reopening

• Workers are returning to their duty post

• Vaccination have started in various countries

In all these, do not allow yourself to be carried away in excitement. The invisible enemy is still lurking around us so;

• Always maintain proper hygiene

• Maintain social distancing

• Always use your face mask

• Have a personal sanitizer

These are the ways to protect yourself, friends, families and the environment.
