-Resolvámoslo mejor a Piedra, papel y tijera.

-No debo... etc. etc.

For Ignacio, sailing through the years becomes a fascinating adventure.

Penetrating the time machine of life brings a mixture of sensations that steal laughter and tears.

To become abstracted in those paths that have brought him to the place he occupies in the earthly space is to see a film that rolls in his unconsciousness to project in the consciousness of his memory pictures of places, smells, tastes, people.

Her mouth searches anxiously for the nipple that breastfeeds her while her fragile hands try to grasp the body of her mother, who has given her warmth and tenderness during her stay, perhaps looking for her to always be there, close and within reach to jump over the fears and to soothe the pains.

From that stage the smells take him to childhood, where the naivety that sometimes appears reminds him how happy he is to be a child.

Learn, study, play, grow, a soldier's march in search of freedom, a song of hope amidst the daily war of reaching new steps in the spiral of time.

These were the times when conflicts represented unconventional solution games.

-If you take the straw off my shoulder, I'll hit you.

-Let's solve it better to Rock, Paper, Scissors.

Or where bifurcations or difficult choices had a logical way

-TTin Marin, two pins…

It was common in those days for the enemy sides to get together to play games or to fight against some other strange side, where solidarity was not impregnated with pride nor did sex mean any limit to sharing and there was no fear of being sick or a doctor or a nurse, or of running together to climb some tree when playing hide and seek.

The world had a size to fit, with capitals on desks and countries whose extensions limited between classrooms or swings in the park, and the least desired cell rested on the wall represented by a blackboard to which the things that should not have been done were written down in order to always remember them.

-I'm not supposed to talk in class.

- I mustn't shout in the corridors.

-I mustn't... etc. etc..

I must not, it was then a hymn of correction that compared to the can't of today's adult possessed a greater meaning because of its scarce repressive spirit.

The economic classes were not a problem to mix feelings and although some saw the mailman father in a bad light, the son was received with the same rights in the humble house or the most beautiful mansion.

They were all comrades when exploring for sweets or treats, a commune as organized as the ants themselves, and the fears that assailed the nights were shared to make them weaker in the face of the ferocity of their explanations.

-I sleep with a slingshot under my pillow, just in case something happens.

The boldest commented, but not the bravest .

-I have some firecrackers hidden under the mattress.

They were replicating others.

-My squirt gun is capable of scaring away anyone.

Comments that today bring a smile to the lips but had that sweetness where the incomprehensible was only something to learn in the future.

The moon was only one trip away from the backyard space center where astronauts described it as a big cheese ball.

And the Martians would never dare to invade the Earth because the superheroes in the neighbourhood would be waiting for them with their soap scum shells that would make their sophisticated ships collapse.

The smell of roses reminds him of Micaela, his first love, the curly-haired girl who from the desk in the living room threw kisses into the air that touched his heart.

The awakening to a new feeling that was transforming the world into daring, discoveries and rich sensations that should remain hidden from the black and scrutinizing glasses of the math professor, who with his pupils seemed to make an x-ray to the deepest part of everyone's brain.

The cinema brings back memories of those furtive escapes with friends as a preamble to nights of debauchery later paid for by the punishments imposed by the mischief of borrowing a parent's car.

The smell of smoke reminds him of the first university strikes, where slogans and mysticism marched in front of the impetus to change the world that was running through the circulatory systems of all those who perceived capitalism as an ogre that swallowed and destroyed with its sharp teeth the nascent idealisms of the new generation that was being formed in the corridors of the campus.

While the Hare Krishna with their shaved heads and their load of incense bring back memories of those years when Eastern mysticism, just flooded with its paraphernalia the most remote places of the city, raised by a crowd that was looking for new ways to escape from the everyday and the problems that were multiplying as a result of new stages in many fields.

The music takes him through undecipherable paths where rebellion associated him with rock and romance with the ballad, to times where society was his enemy and also to the reconciliation with it through some lips that in a dance floor, as dark as the impotence, led him to know and unveil the mysteries of true love.

The crying of a child transports you to that magical moment when your firstborn saw light giving you the mysterious charm of being a father, closing the circle formed by the heterogeneous steps that lead life to parallel starting points where, over the years, you restart in other approaches what you have been experiencing.

But crying also brings back other less pleasant memories, the departure of family or friends on a journey with no return to death, the powerlessness of not being able to change those moments where the soul escapes from our breasts.

Traveling through life is a difficult adventure to write or explain.
