The Lack Of Sensibility In The Decisions Made By A Rational Human Being; Who Are We?

There's a sort of uniqueness a sort of sheer bravery and a "never-say-die" attitude which is evident in the entity which people embody, on the surface it looks stupid it looks uncalled for and rather useless but at the end sometimes people surprise themselves at what they themselves can achieve as a result of this antithetical attitude that generally moves mountain. A practical example of this is when a doctor tells the family members of a patient that the the patient cannot survive a particular illness unless they begin to fight the illness within them, staying strong and understanding that death isn't the only option even when all hope seems lost. This is of course one of the most strangest phenomenon about people that doesn't really seem rational on the surface.

Sometimes I begin to wonder how humans often ignore or contradict most of the principles which not only guides them but make up the regulations of their existence just so they could regain the chance to move mountains or achieve the biggest of things. In fact we have sayings like: "medicine after death" or "crying when the head is cut off" there are so many more of this saying, but what does this sayings eventually connotes? It Literarily suggests that it is very irrational to keep chasing a lost cause other than channeling a particular time into doing something that shows chances of possibilities. However in this paradoxical nature there are times people seem to even go against some of the things they believe in so they could appeal to an emotional aspect side to them which is inbuilt in them.

I once heard of a particular footballer Brazilian footballer whose wife kept in coma for 30 years believing that one day he would eventually come around or wake up. This particular footballer is almost 67 years now but just somehow his wife hasn't allowed doctors to pull the plug on him and finally lay him to rest. Technically she is appealing to an empathic side of her as a human rather than the rational aspect of her which I call or refer to as a "progressive side of reasonability" people often considered being reasonable as progressive but being emotional is tantamount to stagnancy or redundancy whichever possible way, people embrace this, I believe there is no particular standard which seems right or wrong however some cases suggests that people feel that it is lack of emotions that brings innovations and progressiveness.

I myself, at one time, have fallen in love with someone I could never be with, it's a no-brainer to stay attached even when I stand no chances at all in a thousand possibilities. Nevertheless one thing you must understand is that people are capable of the most difficult of things just by embracing that redundant and unprogressive aspect of them which transcends into emotion, humanity or empathy. However this doesn't mean that success is always at the end of every irrational move sometimes failure often suffices more than the actual expectations but all in all, life isn't static and that's the palpability. Many people do not believe in the power of luck but the truth is that sometimes unforeseen circumstances may seem to favour someone seem unfavourable to another and that is why it's honourable to keep fighting rather than deciding to pull the plug in the most unlikeliest of circumstances.

Resilient, yes people will stand together make decisions during troubling times to fight rather than give up. Stay strong!

So so many emotions surfaced after trying to follow your point. There is one quote what sums up many thoughts, a little part of my answer.

There is always some madness in love. But there is also always some reason in madness. Friedrich Nietzsche

This is definitely a marvelous quote, from my reflective mode today, I believe sometimes we become a reflection of the very things we fear. it's all good life isn't supposed to be static. Thanks a whole lot for reading. It's definitely been a long time
