Hello good day friends,

I decided to do a quick weeding and Staking of the yam in the farm. I have gotten the sticks before and i used cutlass to dig hole and put three sticks and also used some of the sticks to cross the standing sticks. This will enable the yam to move on the sticks and not to crawl on the floor. This is to prevent the growing yam from having any disease. Yam is a very common type of crop here as it grows well because of the soil conditions and weather too. Presently yam is very costly and I believe it's a good idea to have my own yam being planted so as to consume by myself and the family and not for sale. The maize planted is also growing well. Although the rain had seized for some time now but there was heavy rainfall overnight.
