Mandala pintado sobre CD reusable con esmalte de uñas [ESP] / Mandala painted on reusable CD with nail polish [ENG]

Soy fanática a pintarme las uñas, tanto así que cuando estaba activa en mi oficina, lo hacía cada dos días, aparte que me gusta siempre estén bien, también me gusta combinar con la ropa que lleve. Con el tema de la pandemia, se ha incrementado considerablemente mis tareas en el hogar y he dejado de pintarme las uñas. Anoche me dije mañana reviso mis esmaltes de uñas, y sacar los que no estén en buen estado, y se me ocurrió usar un CD que ya no es funcional y pintar sobre él un mandala, es una representación de lo que el ser quiere expresar a través del dibujo, por lo general son circulares, me gusta hacerlo, ya que es una maravillosa forma de calmarme y reencontrarme conmigo misma.

Así que me dispuse a pintar.

I am a fan of painting my nails, so much so that when I was active in my office, I did it every two days, besides I always like to look good, I also like to match with the clothes I wear. With the pandemic issue, my chores at home have increased considerably and I have stopped painting my nails. Last night I said to myself tomorrow I will check my nail polishes, and take out the ones that are not in good condition, and it occurred to me to use a CD that is no longer functional and paint on it a mandala, it is a representation of what the being wants to express through the drawing, they are usually circular, I like to do it, as it is a wonderful way to calm down and find myself again.

So I set out to paint.

Para comenzar, traté de identificar aquellos colores de esmaltes que estuviesen más dañados, de tal forma poder darles uso, y no botar inmediatamente. También tenía identifiqué cuál sería el cd que estaría usando, por supuesto, que un CD que ya no es funcional.

To begin with, I tried to identify those enamel colors that were most damaged, so that I could use them, and not throw them away immediately. I also had to identify which CD I would be using, of course, a CD that is no longer functional.

Inicialmente quería hacer un mandala con los colores del arcoíris, pero no tenía amarillo, así que omití ese color fui fintando especies de círculos con cada uno de los colores.

Initially I wanted to make a mandala with the colors of the rainbow, but I didn't have yellow, so I omitted that color and made circles with each of the colors.

Luego de que había pintado sobre el cd, recordé tenía la herramienta para hacer el punteado, la busqué, y comencé de alguna forma a improvisar sobre el mandala, creo que tengo que mejorar el pulso, sin embargo me gustó como quedó. Creo me haré un curso de puntillismo para conocer claramente la técnica.

After I had painted on the cd, I remembered I had the tool to do the stippling, I looked for it, and I started somehow to improvise on the mandala, I think I have to improve the pulse, however I liked how it turned out. I think I will take a pointillism course to know clearly the technique.

Luego para ocultar el huequito del centro del CD, pegué on silicón caliente un pedazo de foami.

Then, to hide the hole in the center of the CD, I glued a piece of foami with hot silicone.

Finalmente, también pinté el centro con esmalte de uñas y luego pinté los puntitos.

Finally, I also painted the center with nail polish and then painted the dots.

Me gusta hacer cosas que sean funcionales, en este caso el mandala que hice sobre el cd, me sirve como portavasos en mi escritorio provisional que tengo en casa, con lo de la pandemia, mi habitación se ha convertido en oficina, sala de cine, dormitorio, lugar de esparcimiento, y mucho más. Estoy muy feliz con mi proyecto, me dejó con ganas de seguir pintando, seguramente les estaré compartiendo mis experiencias.

I like to make things that are functional, in this case the mandala I made on the cd, serves me as a cup holder in my temporary desk that I have at home, with the pandemic, my room has become an office, movie room, bedroom, recreation area, and much more. I am very happy with my project, it left me with the desire to continue painting, I will surely be sharing my experiences with you
