Since I learned that if we recycle plastic, we preserve the balance of the ecosystem, I began to give value to this issue that is so crucial for the environment. Every time I see a plastic bottle I want to transform it into an object. Even if I don't see the bottle, I get ideas of what I could do with them. These days I asked the man who brings the drinking water that if he didn't have a broken bottle he would give it to me, he said yes, two weeks later he brought it to me, I have it there for something spectacular that I will do, I will surely be sharing the process and the result.

My sister likes to buy sparkling water, the container in which the water comes, it is transparent, it is very nice, as the water is consumed, I will keep them, since I will surely get a proper use for them.

As you may have read in some of my publications, I love to buy buttons, of various materials, wood, metal, plastic, aluminum. among others, because with them I can decorate some of my projects, the buttons give a special touch to my projects; as I have many buttons, I no longer had a place to store some of them. so I decided to make a plastic container from plastic bottles.

Desde que supe que si reciclamos el plástico, preservamos el equilibrio del ecosistema, comencé a darle valor a este tema tan crucial para el ambiente. Cada vez que veo una botella de plástico quiero transformarla en un objeto. Inclusive sino veo la botella me llegan ideas de qué pudiese hacer con ellas. En estos días le pregunté al Sr. que trae el agua potable que sino tenía un botellón roto que me regalará, me dijo que sí, a las dos semanas me lo trajo, allí lo tengo para algo espectacular que haré, seguro les estaré compartiendo el proceso y el resultado.

Mi hermana le gusta comprar agua gasificada, el envase en que viene el agua, es transparente, es muy bonito, a medida que se consume el agua, los voy guardando, ya que lo más seguro es que les conseguiré un uso apropiado.

Como podrán haber leído en algunas de mis publicaciones, me encanta comprar botones, de diversos materiales, de madera, metal. plástico, aluminio. entre otro, ya que con ellos puedo decorar algunos de mis proyectos, los botones dan un toque especial a mis proyectos; como tengo muchos botones, ya no tenía donde guardar algunos de ellos. así que decidí hacer un envase de plástico a partir de botellas de plástico.

With just a few materials, including two plastic bottles with the same characteristics, it is possible to obtain a container with its lid included. In this case I used the plastic bottles of carbonated water.

Con pocos materiales y entre ellos dos botellas de plásticos con las mismas característica se podrá obtener un envase con su tapa incluida. En este caso usé las botellas de plástico de agua gasificada.

Steps / Pasos

Start by making the bottom of the container, almost all plastic containers say where they should be cut, usually when the container begins to have the same diameter, just there you introduce the knife, be careful to avoid cutting yourself with the knife.

Comenzar haciendo la parte de abajo del contenedor, casi que todos los envases de platicos dicen por dónde deben ser cortados, por lo general cuando el envase comienza a tener el mismo diámetro, justo allí se introduce el cuchillo, se cuidadoso para evitar cortarse con el cuchillo.

To continue cutting, use the scissors. If you notice that the cut is not neat, use the scissors to even out the cut.

Para continuar cortando, usar la tijera, si observan que no les quedó prolijo el corte, usar la tijera de tal forma emparejar el corte.

After making the cut, we already have the bottom of the container.

Luego de realizar el corte, ya tenemos la parte de abajo del envase.

Now it is the turn to make the lid of the container, to do this introduce the knife, where the container has the same diameter, at the desired height, be careful to avoid cutting yourself with the knife.

Ahora es el turno, de realizar la tapa del envase, para ello introducir el cuchillo, donde el envase tiene el mismo diámetro, a la altura que se desee, ser cuidadoso para evitar cortarse con el cuchillo.

Practically all the tools I use for my projects are stored in this type of container, and I even use them to put gifts in, decorating the container with something woven or with satin ribbons.

Prácticamente, casi todos los implementos que uso para mis proyectos los almaceno en este tipo de envases, inclusive los uso para meter regalos, para lo cual decoro el envase, bien sea con algo tejido o con cintas de raso.
