Greetings Gems community, today I will show you how is a part of my city (which reflects how is the whole city, since all is like that).

Saludos comunidad de Gems, el día de hoy les mostrare como es una parte de mi ciudad ( La cual refleja como es la ciudad entera, ya que toda esta así ).

We were supposed to be doing nothing in the afternoon when some neighbours told us to go for a walk/jog to exercise. I wasn't really in the mood for jogging but I said ¨. Why not, it would be interesting to see what the city is like at this hour. ¨ ( Where I live going out after 5 pm is punished and you will be fined a lot of money). So we were careful and tried to avoid the main roads a lot.

Pues se suponía que estábamos por no hacer nada en la tarde cuando de un momento a otros unos vecinos nos dicen para ir a trotar/caminar para hacer ejercicio. Yo no estaba muy animado para trotar pero dije ¨ ¿Por que no?, seria interesante ver como es la ciudad a estas horas. ¨ ( Donde vivo salir después de las 5 de la tarde es castigado y te multaran con altas sumas de dinero). Así que fuimos cuidadosos y tratamos de evitar mucho las vías principales.

So we all walked out, there was an uncle, my neighbors, my brother and me.

Así que todos salimos andando, íbamos un tío, mis vecinos, mi hermano y yo.

I was surprised to see that in the meantime we were walking and there was a basketball court and people were playing as if nothing had happened! Ignoring that we kept walking, there was no sign of any car or person on a bicycle on the road.

Me sorprendió ver que entre tanto vamos caminando hay una cancha de basketball y ¡ había gente jugando como si nada !. Ignorando eso seguimos andando, no había ningún signo de algún automóvil o persona en bicicleta por el camino.

We arrived at a corner where we asked some gentlemen who were sitting down where this road would take us (since, as I mentioned, we tried to avoid main roads), they told us that we would arrive at another place so we decided to continue where we were going until we reached another intersection.

Llegamos a una esquina donde le preguntamos a unos señores que estaban sentados por donde nos llevaría ese camino ( Ya que como ya mencione, tratamos de evitar vías principales), nos comentaron que llegaríamos a otro lugar así que decidimos continuar por donde íbamos hasta llegar a otra intersección.

When we got there, I was surprised to see one of the schools I visit with Soñar Despierto (I miss those Saturday recreation days with the kids).

Al llegar ahí, me llevo la sorpresa de ver una de las escuelas que visito con Soñar Despierto ( Como extraño esos sabados de recreacion con los niños).

We arrived at the next corner where we found a small store open and there were people buying supplies at that hour.

Llegamos a la esquina siguiente donde encontramos una pequeña bodega abierta y habían personas comprando insumos a esas horas.

We see that the delivery services were working normally, this time it was a motorcycle where they sell hamburgers.

Vemos que los servicios de delivery estaban funcionando con normalidad, esta vez fue una motocicleta donde venden hamburguesas.

We see that even in these times there are businesses that are emerging and called our attention this one, because it was very organized inside and it looked like it could open any day of the week (only the front façade was missing).

Vemos que aun en estos tiempos hay negocios que están surgiendo y nos llamo la atención este, ya que estaba muy organizado por dentro y se veía como si pudiera abrir cualquier día de la semana (solo faltaba la fachada frontal).

When it is time to close a business of attention to the public it is asked to clean everything, the sidewalks, almost that until the street including the internal part of the same one. Here we see how the workers are waiting for the boss or the private transport service to take them (public transport is not enough for so many people, although here you see few in many places are full)

A la hora de cerrar un negocio de atención al publico se pide que limpien todo, las aceras, casi que hasta la calle incluyendo la parte interna del mismo. Aquí vemos como los trabajadores están esperando para que el jefe o el servicio privado de transporte los lleve (el transporte publico no da abasto para tantas personas, aunque aquí se vean pocas en muchos lugares se ven llenos)

In farmatodo (a chain of pharmacies) you can see that the drive-through attend until late hours, something I did not know before I went out.

En farmatodo (una cadena de farmacias) se ve que el auto-servicio atiende hasta altas horas, algo que no sabia antes de salir.

Once it was dark, we took several alleyson the way back, because of the fear and danger we were running (even more than usual).

Ya habiendo oscurecido, tomamos varios callejones a la hora de vuelta, por el miedo y el peligro que estábamos corriendo ( aun mas del normal).

My brother and I decided to take a little run and he almost beat me (I have to do more cardio, I couldn't handle myself after that).

Mi hermano y yo decidimos echar unas carreritas y por poco me gana ( Debo de hacer mas cardio, no podía conmigo mismo luego de eso).

What do I think of the flexible quarantine in my country?

I think even if they limit us some days, they let us out some days. They should take measures to increase the capacity of the hospitals more than to lock us up as if we were some kind of animal, we can't be like this always, at some point they should lift these measures.

¿ Que pienso de la cuarentena flexible en mi país?

Pienso que aunque nos limiten algunos días, nos dejen salir otros. Deben de tomar medidas para aumentar la capacidad de los hospitales mas que el encerrarnos como si fuéramos algún tipo de animal, no podemos estar así siempre, en algún momento deben de levantar estas medidas. (Para los que no sepan, aquí esta implementada una medida de: salir una semana a trabajar, hacer lo que se vaya a hacer y otra semana encerrados)
