As some boundaries are already opened, many individuals are going home from either overseas or from Metro Manila. Some of those people are under monitoring and needs to undergo 14 days quarantine. Hence, the thousands of individuals under quarantine in the province. They're actually quarantined in their own homes. But does it mean safety when some members of their households are allowed to go out? What if the person unde monitoring will eventually become positive, and their household are carriers? That would be scary.

Meanwhile, I saw the quarantine facility in our town shared by the local government on their Facebook page. People had their concern as it is an open gymnasium, where cubicles are made of tents lacking ventillation. They could've been placed in a better facility where it was air conditioned.

Coronavirus cases

It's sad to see the casss cross 10 million even it was expected. No signs seen the cases will go down yet. At the moment, the total is 10.063 million already. Fatalities has already crossed 500k, while there are 5.089 recoveries. The number of recovered cases at least giving us some hope. United States remains the most affected with 2.591 million. The good news is deaths continues to slow down, still at 127k range. Recovered cases seemed not updated at 786k. Brazil continues to tally huge numbers now at 1.344 million, and recoveries might not be updated to at 715k.

The cases continue to each day in the Philippines as there are 35,455 new total. Fatalities counted was below 10 since yesterday with total 1,244, while slower recovery was seen with total of 9,686. There are currently new cases in our province again, and there are currently 20 confined cases.

Initial tests show negative

There are new cases in our region by which their tests show negative on the initial testing in Manila before they're allowed to go home. When they arrived on our province, the government imposed testing again on them, and they turned out to be positive. Good thing the provincial government imposed that because has been similar cases which they're initiall negative. Some tests results would be false negative, hence, the need for the second testing.
