Friendship Rekindled / Going Solo (Freewrite)
Gwyneth and her band worked on their second album, but she cannot deny working with her ex, Ethan. So they decided not to write songs together, as they used to in the past. Time came for the release of the album, and it charted well. However, it wasn't as successful as their previous release. It was blamed with the lacked of energy and substance knowing the creative powers of Gwyneth and Ethan worked well.
Working with her ex has been difficult for Gwyneth. She thought of leaving the band a lot of times but she loves her other bandmates, and treats them as her brothers. So she tried her best to work together with Ethan. They decided to work on their new album so they can move on from the poor performance of their previous effort.
Surprisingly, Gwyneth and Ethan has rekindled their friendship, and they learned to let go of the pains in the past. In fact, they became bestfriends. Ethan had her new girlfriend, which Gwyneth is even supportive of. With the release of their new album, it was well-received. The magic of working together paid off for the band.
At one night, the two are in the rooftop of the house talking to each other. They reflected on what they have been through. Now, they are even bestfriends. Ethan talked to Gwyneth if she wanted to go solo. Gwyneth loves her band so much that she can't do so. Ethan encouraged Gwyneth to try doing a solo album, and it doesn't mean she's leaving the band. It's about taking opportunities knowing Gwyneth was also popular even not part of the band, and as an individual.
Gwyneth thought about what Ethan told her. In the morning, her other bandmates talked to her, and said the same thing as Ethan did. That same day, a rapper called Gwyneth and asked her if they can collaborate. Her bandmates approved of it so she took that opportunity. The song was successful, and a DJ-producer called on her if she can sing for a song he will produce, which she accepted.
Despite the success of the songs she did without her band, she haven't decided to work on a new album. Instead, she wrote a song which she decided to be released as part of their compilation album. The song went well as the lead single, and helped the compilation album sell millions.
