First I want to mention that melon is a super nutritious, hydrating and refreshing fruit and in this hot season that we suffer in Buenos Aires, it is a practical drink to keep us hydrated and not always fall back on drinking water, which is usually a bit boring.

primero quiero mencionar que el melón es una fruta súper nutritiva e hidratante y refrescante y en esta época de calor que sufrimos en Buenos Aires es una bebida práctica para mantenernos hidratados y no recaer siempre en tomar agua que suele ser un poco aburrido.

The first thing to do is cut both the melon and the apple into small pieces

lo primero que debemos hacer es cortar tanto el melón como la manzana en trozos pequeños

We place the apple and the melon in pieces inside the blender, we also add the seeds of the melon, these will add that creamy touch to the drink.
I will also sweeten the drink with cinnamon you can use normal sugar or some other type of sweetener

colocamos la manzana y el melon en trozos dentro de la licuadora además agregamos las semillas del melón, éstas le agregaran ese toque cremoso a la bebida. Además endulzare la bebida con canela tú puedes utilizar azúcar normal o algún otro tipo de endulzante

We begin to beat the ingredients and then we will strain the drink to avoid consuming any type of hardness that may have been left from any seed

comenzamos a batir los ingredientes y luego colaremos la bebida para evitar consumir algún tipo de dureza que pueda haber quedado de alguna semilla

If your blender is resistant, you can mix it again with pieces of ice to make it even colder, but we simply place it in a jug in the fridge and serve in a glass with plenty of ice

si tu batidora es resistente puedes volver a mixear junto a trozos de hielo para que quede aún más frío sino simplemente lo colocamos en una jarra en heladera y servimos en un vaso con abundante hielo

In my house, in addition to creating this drink for myself, I make a similar one following the same steps but with pieces of watermelon for my niece who prefers a slightly sweeter drink

Y eso es todo tú smoothie de melón y manzana ya está listo para tomar!. Yo en mi casa además de crear esta bebida para mí hago una similar siguiendo los mismos pasos pero con trozos de sandía para mi sobrina que prefiere un trago un poco más dulce
