New Scam alert

It was on the evening of Tuesday when I was about to sleep, I just felt like checking my discord app because I had switched notifications few months ago. It was then I saw that I have two unread messages, one from a not and the other from a 'SOUR'.

I am not used with getting messages from people except from groups and servers I am in, which was actually what made me check. I opened the message and saw that it was congratulatory one on a giveaway I know I didn't participate it, then I saw the prize of 0.69 BTC.

That was the first red flag, what type of exchange gives out that kind of money without a competition or task of any type?🤔

I read all and went to register on the site to see if it was real, believe you me, it is a working site: slibit.com.

I registered, even did a 2FA authentication. I was still thinking maybe it is the real deal, I logged in and activated the code I was given. And I saw 0.69 sitting comfortably in my account balance, I must say that by now I was thinking this was real.

I was already thinking of doing KYC then to think of withdrawing some, then a thought came to me to attempt withdrawing.

I did and what I saw shocked me, it was there that I needed to deposit 0.05 BTC to be able to activate withdrawal.

It was at this point I went to do my research and I found out that the site was created to scam people of their BTC, I must say that they actually went a long way.

I had to go online and make research about what the credibility of the site, guess what I found on reddit?
