Hola comunidad de hive en esta oportunidad quisiera contarles un poco sobre mi experiencia laboral trabajando en el área de salud. Específicamente como transcriptora y
administradora en la unidad de mamografía de cumana. Este trabajo me ha permitido aprender
sobre asuntos referente a la administración ya que esta no es el área en la que me especialice; así
como también me ha permitido aprender sobre la importancia y la prevención del cáncer de mama.
Ya que en esta unidad los médicos especialistas y técnicos profesionales se encargan de realizar estudios mamográficos con el fin de detectar a tiempo dicha patología.

Experiencias no gratas

Tomando en cuenta que no me desempeño directamente con la elaboración de los estudios, me ha
tocado vivir experiencias no gratas con algunos de los casos que se han presentado en la unidad.
Personas que no cuentan con recursos para la realización de la evaluación hasta casos terminales,
casos que ya no tienen solución alguna. Esto me ha enseñado la importancia que tiene la vida para
cada persona, en ocasiones he podido ver que muchas mujeres esperan lo último para visitarnos
por el simple hecho de tener miedo o simplemente por no contar con recursos. Así como también
me ha tocado vivir experiencias más cercanas, debido a que tengo una relación de ámbito personal
con un familiar que padece de esta patología que me han hecho sensibilizarme más, e igual tener
un sentimiento de empatía hacia los familiares de otros pacientes.
