HOW I USED FRIED YAM AND GROUNDNUT OIL GARNISHED WITH LOT OF DRIED PEPPER AND SALT TO TREAT MY LACK OF TASTE.

Hello everyone,

Good evening to you all. I woke up this morning with almost no sense of taste. I tried eating a couple of stuffs and drinks to no avail and so I thought if I should take something pepperish it might brings back my sense of taste . Also I knew I just can't start licking dried pepper, I have to eat it with something so I made fried yam. I love to eat fried yam with groundnut oil that contains pepper and salt. It usually taste very nice but on this occasion I had to put more pepper more than the usual amount I used to put just so it might work.

After making everything, it tasted like it was before but thankfully I could taste the pepper. After eating I tried some drinks and it worked not fully though but I know by tomorrow, it would have come back fully. Well it was an unusual solution but I've heard it before that pepper brings out sense of taste back and thankfully it worked for me.

  • After frying I poured some groundnut oil into a small bowl, added little salt and considerable amount of pepper as you can see below to eat with the yam.

  • That was how I treat my lack of taste problem. If you are experiencing the same, you can give the pepper therapy a trial. It might work for you too.
