Good morning everyone,

Three days ago I made a stylus pen out of the plastic of a biro and coper wire with cotton wool. After using it for a while I noticed, its not that efficient. The copper wire was shifting, the cotton wool was entering the pen and the finger has to be in the copper wire which might not be possible all time without being precise.
Therefore I decided to make another using a more efficient method. One of the materials I needed to make one is aluminum foil paper (which will act as the conductor) but we don't have one at home. Neither do I know where one can be bought. Luckily yesterday, we went to buy ice-cream and they used an Aluminum foil to cover the ice cream so it won't dissolve before consumption. When we got home, I removed the foils, rinsed them and dried them.
That was how I got the aluminum foil I used.

MATERIALS USED

  • Aluminum foil paper
  • Pencil
  • Paper tape
  • Cotton wool

PROCESS

  • I sharpened the pencil just a little ( so the lead won't be popping out) then I put cotton wool at the sharpened end.

  • I used the paper tape to tag it down.

  • Then I rolled the aluminum foil all around the pencil from the top down. Then I used the paper tape to tag it down.

  • Just as I can't make one for myself alone, I had to make two more for my little brothers.

Note that in order to make it work, the cotton wool at the tip must be . It's the water that will conduct electricity from the fingers to the screen to make it work.

Thanks fir viewing my blog and have a wonderful day.
