The ganesh is the son of lord shiv and paravati. The lord ganesha is lord of wisdom, lord of happiness, lord of good fortune. In india in every function or work we freshly start worship with lord ganesha(lord of wisdom). Devotee used to worship two times a day one in the morning then in the evening time. After performing the aarti then all devotees get prasaad(the fruits/sweet we offered to lord).

The elephant face, the broken teeth, round stomach, the hands with sweet modak, axe and raised hand for the blessing to devotees, mouse near his leg and shinning eyes, these is all about mighty ganesha. The place where the Ganesha idol has been placed should be extremely neat n clean and with required puja items like flower garland, varieties of fruits, modak, laddoos, kalash covered with coconut, dhoop stick, diya, rosewater, gangalal, clove, betel, cardamom, paan leaf, ghee, honey, dryfruits and many more items.

Modaks plays an very important role in the worship of the Ganesha. According to Hindu mythology Modak is believed to be Ganesha’s favorite food even lord ganesha is called as modakapriye that the only reason at every idol of ganesha he is holding modak in one of his hand. Usually modak is dumplings madeup of all purpose flour with coconut or jaggery filling in it but now we are living in trending lifestyle so modak is available in varieties like chocolate modak, mango, kesar flavoured, paan, strawberry n many more.

This is thaal(platter) contains the all the flavours of modak. Isn't this plate is tempting...? After offering this to lord ganesha as bhog then distribute all the modak to the devotees present at the aarti time. This thaal is made up by my family members, each type of modak is made by my aunts. The green modak se made by me, it is paan flavour, paan n coconut is used in the workship of lord ganesha. Everybody liked my modak alot even all the flavour of modak was super delicious n yummy.
This thaal we have prepared last year but this year we are not celebrating due to coronavirus as social distancing is very important

After performing the Ganesh Puja, devotees gives farewell to Bappa by immersing him in water, and this is called Ganpati Visarjan. The 1oth day of the festival is called as anant Chaturthiwhen the clay idol is take place in near rivers even some of devotees put the clay idol immerse in the bucket at home, this ritual is done to repeat the birth cycle of lord ganesha.

Thankyou hiver for giving me the opportunity or platform to cherish all my last year memory of ganesh Chaturthi. Those days was fantastic, those 10 days are superb we feel very sad n feel lonely after the visarjan of ganesha. But due to coronavirus, we are allowed by our district manager to celebrate such type of event in our city, as it not possible to maintain the social distancing in such festivals, but anyways 'm feeling happy now to share my memories to you all.
