Late afternoon rain

My fascination for old photos is reflected in how I edit the photos that I make. Nowadays, it's really easy to simulate the photo effect especially using the software for digital photo editing. There are even ready-made photo filters that I can simply apply directly to my photos and achieve the old effect almost instantaneously with very little fine-tuning.

For these shots, I took it a while ago during heavy rain. I was a little bored looking at the water droplets dripping on the window panes. I thought that it might look nice on the image and so I went ahead took some photos.

I chose the image that captured the droplets in focus and made the edit.

The next photo was just for fun. I was trying to capture the droplet before it fell off from the small twig.

For me, bad weather doesn't necessarily mean bad. In fact, with the right attitude, it can be as fun as this.

Also, this kind of photography also works with mobile phones.
