This post is multiple purposes, among them to present beautiful scenarios of coastal marine ecosystems and their rich biological diversity, geophysical and climatic aspects of the Mediterranean coasts in the majestic island of Zankythos - Zante (Greece); also, it expresses an emotional feeling of how I connect with nature, my respect and love for these wonders that we have and can enjoy without causing significant impacts to their environment.

Aquí me encuentro, en territorio griego acompañada de mi aventurero esposo, amante de los viajes, la historia y las leyendas mitológicas. Me cuenta que en esta azul masa de agua navegó Odiseo junto a sus valientes marinos, es probable que Homero haya fantaseado al relatar tal acontecimiento; sin embargo, el geógrafo griego Eratóstenes (siglo II a.C.) secundaría estas afirmaciones.

Mi esposo no aguantó la tentación de las llamativas aguas y saltó a nadar. En el fondo se visualiza una estructura rocosa con escasa vegetación adaptada a condiciones marinas costeras.

Después de un merecido disfrute en este precioso ecosistema acuático, aprecié la armonía y majestuosidad de la naturaleza; su impresionante belleza y mensaje de paz, armonía, perfección y felicidad que transmite; entonces me pregunté: ¿Por qué los seres humanos nos complicamos tanto la vida y creamos situaciones con consecuencias dolorosas para el mundo en general?

After a deserved enjoyment in this beautiful aquatic ecosystem, I appreciated the harmony and majesty of nature; its impressive beauty and message of peace, harmony, perfection and happiness that it transmits; then I asked myself: Why do we human beings complicate our lives so much and create situations with painful consequences for the world in general?

Y mientras me dirigía al hotel, me dediqué a sentir esa energía maravillosa que me llegaba con la brisa, ruido de las olas y aves marinas. Me sentí amada y con un amor que enviaba a todo ser vivo que puebla esta hermosa tierra.

And as I drove to the hotel, I was able to feel that wonderful energy that came with the breeze, the sound of the waves and the sea birds. I felt loved and with a love that sent out to every living being that populates this beautiful land.

Una vez en el hotel, me dispuse arreglarme para cumplir con un compromiso gastronómico. Por nada podía faltar a la mesa donde me esperaba un suculento plato mediterráneo con un alto contenido de fósforo (P) y potasio (K).

Once at the hotel, I arranged to meet a gastronomic commitment. I could not miss the table where a succulent Mediterranean dish with a high content of phosphorus (P) and potassium (K) was waiting for me.
