Hello Everyone. I hope you're all having a great time.

Earlier today, I stumbled upon a photo of a Proboscis monkey. The monkey had a pretty long nose and I thought it was an edited photo because I had never seen or heard about this type of monkeys. I did my research and found out that the Proboscis monkey are actually a family of long-nosed monkeys popularly known as the bekantan in
Indonesia. They are an arboreal Old World monkey with an unusually large nose, reddish-brown coloured skin and a long tail. They can be found in the southeast Asian island of Borneo. They feed mostly on leaves, fruits, flowers and sometimes insects.

So here's a drawing I made depicting an hibernated/sleeping Proboscis monkey.
I made this drawing using a black ball point pen and pelican paper.
Here are my steps in the drawing;
First, I drew the outline of both eating a leaf. I also added the facial features of the monkey in this stage. I also drew it's fur flow as a guide for the fur details.

Next, I began to shade and add details to it's face

Finally, I shaded and added fur details to its skin until I got a satisfactory result

Thank you taking your time to read and view my drawing. Enjoy the rest of your day.
