Alex Kidd in Miracle World's remaster looks beautiful
Although the trailer clearly focuses on retro hype instead of the actual game, I think it looks great. It matches the traditional platformer feel perfectly. While this is not by any means an innovative project, it is gaming done right.
So many [g]old titles being released again make me feel hopeful for the current and coming younger generations. For the longest time, there was no Sonic, Crash Bandicoot or even Mega Man.
Having games like these available is heartwarming. Hopefully it will inspire more game developers for this genre. I can't wait to play Alex Kidd in Miracle World! Don't tell anyone, but I'll actually kick it off in retro mode.
