Anime my style. Practice light and shadow. / Anime a mi estilo. Prácticas de luces y sombras.
Greetings dear friends, visitors, followers, Hello world!, lovers of digital art, anime, chibi, Kawaii, cute ... Welcome to my drawings of today, I show you one of my most recent practices in terms of lights and shadows, I try to apply the techniques that I have been seeing in video tutorials, because according to them, my technique of lights and shadows in airbrushing for these designs, is very ugly. According to what they mention, for the animé you don't use airbrushing and if you do, you should be very cautious. It's very hard for me not to use it since it's something I've always done and felt comfortable with and I like it, but, for the real anime lovers, they don't find it very nice, so: I have to improve that!

Bienvenidos a mis dibujos de hoy, te muestro una de mis prácticas más recientes en cuanto a luces y sombras, trato de aplicar las técnicas que he estado viendo en vídeo tutoriales, pues según ellas, mi técnica de luces y sombras en aerografía para estos diseños, está muy fea. De acuerdo a lo que mencionan, para el animé no se usa aerografía y si se usa, se debe ser muy cauteloso. Me cuesta mucho no usarla ya que es algo que siempre he hecho y con lo que me he sentido cómoda y eme gusta, pero, para los verdaderos amantes del anime, no les parece muy lindo, así que: ¡Tengo que mejorar eso!.
So, I did my pencil drawing in my notebook. I chose this one of my many drawings because I need to practice shading and anime lights and I was frustrated because the drawing before my post yesterday, was so horrible that I did not finish it. It must be because I don't feel healthy at all, the truth is that the pencil drawing was nice but when I digitalized it: oh my God! It was horrible, I even felt sorry for it, my husband and my son saw it and said: What happened to you, then I knew I wasn't going anywhere with that drawing and I cancelled it. Maybe I'll take it up again later. Maybe I'll try again.
Entonces, hice m idibujo a lápiz de grafíto en mi libreta. Escogí este de mis tantos dibujos porque necesito practicar sombreados y luces anime y quedé frustrada porque el dibujo anterior al de mi post de ayer, quedó tan horrible que no lo terminé. Debe ser porque como no me siento bien del todo de salud, la verdad el dibujo a lápiz era lindo pero cuando lo digitalicé: uy por Dios! Horrible me quedó, me dio hasta pena, mi esposo y mi hijo lo vieron y me dijeron: ¿Qué te pasó?, entonces supe que no iba a ningún lugar con ese dibujo y lo cancelé. Tal vez lo retome más adelante. Tal vez lo vuelva a intentar.
I confess that because of this, I drew with fear, fear that I would be unpresentable again. I put on relaxation music and began to practice breathing while I drew, because for me drawing implies feeling and relaxation, so I wasn't going to download negative feelings into my design. I made a doll in awe of what it sees around it, greeting the world, with a teddy bear lollipop in its hand. I proceed to digitize and make the lineart.
Confieso que debido a lo anterior, dibujaba con miedo, miedo a que me volviera a quedar impresentable. Coloqué música de relajación y empecé a practicar respiración mientras dibujo, porque para mi dibujar, implica sentimiento y relajación, entonces no iba a descargar sentimientos negativos en mi diseño. Hice una muñeca asombrada por lo que ve a su alrededor, saludando al mundo, con una chupeta de chocolate en forma de osito en la mano. Procedo a digitalizar y realizar el lineart.
I also confess that I had no idea of the color palette I would use, the only idea I had was to work in the most pastel shades possible, which as I told you, for me in medibang, using pastel colors without modifying the opacity of the brush or the opacity of the layer, is impossible, because its colors are not smooth like other programs, such as Paint Tool Sai. But here I go, inventing. In this section I apply the base colour. I paint a flower, then I reproduce it and glue it on various parts of his shirt.
También confieso que no tenía idea de la paleta de colores que emplearía, la única idea que tenía era trabajar en los tonos más pasteles posibles, que como te dije, para mí en medibang, emplear colores pasteles sin modificar la opacidad del pincel o la opacidad de la capa, es imposible, porque sus colores no son suaves como otros programas, como por ejemplo Paint Tool Sai. Pero ahí voy, inventando. En esta sección aplico el color base. T pinto una flor, luego la reproduzco y pego en varias partes de su camisa.
In this step, I adjust the opacity of the base color layer, as you can see I also have a white background behind it and I apply all that is shadows and lights. I used some airbrushing, but as the anime experts recommend, I used it very carefully and as subtle as possible.
En este paso, ajusto la opacidad de capa color base, como puedes ver también tengo un fondo blanco tras ella y aplico todo lo que es sombras y luces. Usé algo de aerografía, pero como recomiendan los expertos de animé, lo usé con mucha precaución y lo más sutil que pueda.
In this section, I add the shadow on the face, I also try to give a melted chocolate effect to the lollipop, in the decoration of the shirt and the cuffs, I try to apply some effect that resembles wool or something woven, I apply shadows, lights in the ears and I finish by applying the same in the details of the shirt.
En esta sección, agrego la sombra en el rostro, también trato de darle efecto de chocolate derretido a la chupeta, en el adorno de la camisa y los puños, trato de aplicarle algún efecto que asemeje la lana o algo tejido, aplico sombras, luces en las orejas y finalizo aplicando lo mismo en los detalles de la camisa.
Today it didn't take me long to do the eyes, it didn't take me five minutes, today was easy, I was so sure that I worked all in one layer I just adjusted the opacity of each brush I used. My custom brushes and the program defaults. Then, I copy and paste the eye in the corresponding place, because the possibility that I will be uneven, different and one uglier than the other is very high, so I don't take any risks. Just like when a woman puts on make-up and can't get her eyebrows to be the same and both eyes to be the same, the same thing happens to me here, so why take a risk?
Hoy no tardé nada haciendo los ojos, no me llevó ni cinco minutos, hoy estuvo fácil, estuve tan segura que trabaje todo en una misma capa solo ajusté la opacidad de cada pincel que usé. Mis pinceles personalizados y los predeterminados del programa. Luego, copio y pego el ojo en el lugar correspondiente, porque la posibilidad que me queden disparejos, diferentes y uno más feo que el otro es muy alta, así que no me arriesgo. Así como cuando una mujer se maquilla y no puede hacer que sus cejas sean iguales y que ambos ojos le queden igual de maquillados, lo mismo me ocurre aquí, entonces; ¿Para qué arriesgarme?...
I also had no idea how I was going to do the background, I just had an idea of airbrushing in a purple tone and adjusting the layer, but it seemed too simple this time, so I started playing with some default brushes from the program and I liked the wall, which I elaborated, seems to be taken from some comic book. What do you think?
Tampoco tenía idea de cómo iba a hacer el fondo, solo tenía una idea de colocar aerografía en un tono morado y ajustar la capa, pero me pareció demasiado simple esta vez, por lo que me puse a jugar con algunos pinceles predeterminados del programa y me gustó la pared, que elaboré, parece sacada de alguna historieta. ¿Qué opinas?.
