Hola, Hive.
Definitivamente este tema es para mĂ una máquina del tiempo. Cada vez que lo escucho me traslado a mis fiestas de los 80’s en los que el merengue era el rey. Bailábamos esos temas de Wilfrido Vargas, Ruby PĂ©rez, Las Chicas del Can, Los MelĂłdicos y por supuesto no podĂa faltar, quien para mĂ, es uno de los principales mĂşsicos que ha dado la RepĂşblica Dominicana como lo es el gran Juan Luis Guerra.
En aquellos dĂas era Juan Luis Guerra y su 440, nombre que viene de la frecuencia que tiene la nota de referencia para la afinaciĂłn perfecta que son 440 vibraciones por segundo, equivalente al sonido “la”.
Me Enamoro de Ella es uno de mis temas favoritos de aquella época. Narra una de esas historias de amor que rompe las barreras de las clases sociales y por esa razón hice este arreglo para la Orquesta Sinfónica de Aragua que fue interpretado el 16 de diciembre de 2019 en el Teatro de la Ópera de Maracay y estoy seguro que ustedes disfrutarán al máximo.
This song is definitely a time machine for me. Every time I listen to it I go back to my parties of the 80's when merengue was king. We danced to those songs by Wilfrido Vargas, Ruby Perez, Las Chicas del Can, Los MelĂłdicos and of course I could not miss, who for me, is one of the main musicians that has given the Dominican Republic as is the great Juan Luis Guerra.
In those days it was Juan Luis Guerra and his 440, a name that comes from the frequency that has the reference note for perfect tuning which are 440 vibrations per second, equivalent to the sound "la".
Me Enamoro de Ella is one of my favorite themes of that time. It tells one of those love stories that break the barriers of social classes and for that reason I made this arrangement for the Orquesta SinfĂłnica de Aragua which was performed on December 16th, 2019 at the Teatro de la Ă“pera de Maracay and I am sure you will enjoy it to the fullest.
